Mod users in FFXIV are getting out of control

The entire concept of being "against parsing" is absolutely ridiculous. Your in game performance is public. I can scroll through the chat log in game and read the exact same information that a parser sees. If you don't want your in game performance to be public, Don't play a public game.

Likewise, there is no way to get consent from other players that the parser is being used against, nor is there a way to block people from parsing you.

You gave your consent for me to monitor your performance when you joined my group. In my group, my success relies in part on your ability to perform. If you aren't okay with that, there are 13+ other solo Final Fantasy games for you to go play. This level of nonsense is pathetic.

So if I judge your performance solely on what I see in the chat log thats okay? I highly doubt it. Also, the terms of service on these forums prohibit harassment, but you take every opportunity to break them by harassing people who use parsers, so don't you dare claim you're abiding by the rules.

Oh please. Everyone who uses ACT does not get to cry victim. Everyone who uses mods, does not get to cry victim. If you know you are breaking the rules, you lost the moral high ground. If someone reports you for harassment, you lose. You are on the official forums, it's like bragging about where you stashed the bodies to a murder and it then crying that it shouldn't count because the cops didn't know about it until now.

It sucks that you can\\'t play a game to have fun and mind your own business without having someone try to make unwanted advances.

In fairness, lets not lose sight of the fact that this sort of behaviour has existed in MMOs as well as other large scale social platforms since the year dot. It's not really fair to pin this kind of behaviour on mods as they aren't responsible for it.

I'm still wondering how it is possible you are linking ACT to the modding that was brought up on the original page, or how ACT and botting are 'the same'. Also, that is a bad analogy to use. Most folks don't come here and 'brag' about parses or post screens of obviously modded stuff. They take that elsewhere where it is not against forum rules.

I used the G keys on my Logitech keyboard to automate opening lockboxes in Eureka, and the keyboard driver is a third party tool. I await my ban.
