They could have used her but they wouldn't be much point because there wasn't a need for her. With that idea in my head that only leads to Eureka also if you look at the 4.2 trailer right after the scene with Krile and the new character it shows Eureka... and we saw Eureka in the previous live letter via images...so you can easily make the connection, so you just need to pay attention.
I didn't see the images from the live letter, so I can't very well make that connection. For all I knew Krile was heading somewhere to help with something. Seemed as likely she was heading to Doma to try and fix Yotsuyu as anything else.
