Feedback on patch trailers

MSQ is what I'm most looking for on new patches. I am not very happy knowing it ends in less than 1 hour of gameplay and yet they are showing so much, like the Gosetsu fight.

Yeah, I know it lacks context, but yet... it would be better to actually see it playing the msq, wich, again, isn't so long after all.

Well they didn't show the MSQ Trial (and they said they wouldn't because big spoiler reasons probably), so there's that to look forward to.

I would argue that they likely did show part of it...I mean just look at the setting for one of those scenes(practically all red - sky, railing, platform...people).

They said they are showing nothing on the trial in the trailer. So that is most likely a solo instance which happens before it. The only people we see during that part is us the WoL and a few other characters I won't name in case some people don't want to see the trailer or know what's in it. Anytime they show a trial they always show different angles being able to see other players and mechanics (look at Byakko and Shinryu extreme in the 4.1/4.2 trailers). We saw no sign of these so we have to assume that wasn't the trial.

If the trial is who I think it is, there's a possible loophole in that the trailer likely shows "who" it is but is hiding whatever "form" that they take in said trial. I hope I'm right, is all I'm saying.

It's the Taurus Auracite (Ivalice questiline)

If you played FFT or watched the cutscenes in FFXIV you would know that is the Auracite (zodiac crystal) for Taurus. Argath (the last boss of the 24man) uses it to turn into Duma one of the twelve lucavi.

I just wish they could try to keep some of the more spoiler-like stuff out of the trailers. Like, did that part with Gosetsu near the end really need to be there? That seems like a pretty big moment, and even if it's setting up something much more convoluted, why not just wait for the actual content to release in 11 days than to shove it out in this manner?
