You also completely misunderstood. I meant that when "I" am the healer I generally have to deal with less nonsense than if I played a different role, i.e. on tank with healers rude beyond compare or dps where healers or tanks are not performing their roles causing the entire party problems. I didn't mention healer in this instance to hate on the poorly geared one this run as I did mention they didn't die.

Sorry, by your wording it seemed you had been complaining about the healer, not the tank. ((Edited due to being unable to read, apparently))

Your story would have made more sense not mentioned the healer in the same set of points as the tank you were complaining about.

Edit, glancing at what I originally quoted, I edited it down to that last line because that was the point I felt you were blaming the healer even more. That entire quoted sentence sounds like you were blaming the healer. I was wrong, apparently, but that is how I read it as.

Got my PLD to 70 with gear that allows me to do all Delta raids. Decided to do Exdeath normal since I know his strat the best.
Co-tank is a WAR and goes MT. He gets a stack of thunder 3 and I'm prepared to switch at any moment. He tells the party he goes out...except he went DC and lost aggro to a DPS.

Luckily I managed to get the aggro back and the rest of the fight was smooth but I thought we were done for.

Still apologized for that slip up (I should have been more careful) but still got two comms

I'd happily take Praetorium over any EX primal in Mentor Roulette any day.

I honestly don't get why anyone would PUG the early EX trials when its so easy to hop into a unsynced party finder or form your own. I had a friend who jump potioned her way to stormblood and realized she needed to do the old EX trials. I offered to help but she wanted to que it synced as a tank instead of doing party finder when I tried to explain it to her that doing it unsynced is a million times easier.

But she's stubborn so she didn't listen to me, so we qued up for Garuda EX. We get there and EVERYONE is new. I tried explaining mechanics but it doesn't help that my friend who has never tanked before in her life had no clue how to use DRK and we wiped like 7 times before I said "Next time just do it unsynced on party finder" and left.

It was the worst time I've ever had T_T

Tanks that think it’s okay to be in a level 55 dungeon with an item level 45 weapon....I....I don’t understand.

There should be at least weapon checks for leveling dungeons. I’m getting really tired of getting undergeared tanks that I have to either spam heal, or that I end up tanking in their place on a DPS job.

He could have potentially been trying to get an in-progress queue for his friend cause their healer may have left/kicked.

I've had experiences when I try to queue in-prog to help friends out as a tank, it'll try to put me into fresh groups quite a bit. I wish there was a "search for in progress" only option for the DF window. It was still quite a dumb move for that WHM to accept the queue since it clearly shows whether you've dinged an in-progress one or not though, since all it did was just ruin that queue for the poster and the others in that instance.

I think a "Search in Progress Only" option would need a few rules. Namely, not first time in and for specific dungeons (Not Roulette) only. Or an option to use your friend's list to join them in the dungeon if it fits what the dungeon needs.

Course they were. The only people who use DF for Ex primals are newbies, and poor sods who got forced in via mentor roulette (which is exactly why I refuse to run mentor roulete).

This one I loathe with a passion. Not just because it was super hard but because the parties I was with were so toxic.

At first, didn't start off too bad with them but after I died the second time, they grew more and more arrogant and rude with me. Treating me like I'm some dummy and suggested I should change class.(I was class pugilist.) I blacklisted them after we were done.

Then today, came The Sunken Temple of Qarn(Hard). I only been to this dungeon twice.

Soon,one player showed his toxic nature and dismissed someone just because they weren't doing anything at all. I kinda agree with his decision but he was being awfully rude. As we reached to the part with those walking cactus, we got killed once and then we went back there again. They showed us which cactus to kill but because there were so many of them, I got overwhelmed and kinda panic a little. Then he went so far and called me braindead and rude things. Even another member told him being toxic isn't going to help.

Horrible run in Fractal HM this morning... healer didn't use protect and after not healing the tank the tank died and I'm left tanking on SAM... the tank requests protect after the first wipe... the healer refuses saying they didn't need protect... the tank then refuses to tank and will only dps... leaving me to tank again... finally kick the tank.... new tank comes and we clear... I was playing with children... and the brd was single targeting and not using any songs

Had a tank who used a parser in fractal and called the healer and one of the dps out because their dps didn't satisfied him. My dps was somewhat satisfied him so I didn't get called out, but I had to leave anyway because it was getting ugly.
