Forum etiquette - double-posting vs separating ideas?

I use snip quotes if I have to. Since I'm on mobile, I can't edit my posts; snipping ensures I can get my opinion out without having to worry (much) about character limit.

Just use the desktop site on your mobile device. Fully featured and most, if not all smartphones can navigate it with ease.

What? Why is it rude the snip posts? This is the second time somebody said it. How is that rude? I do it because I'm responding directly to the person I snipped. This feels like an overly sensitive reaction to a minor thing.

I disagree. If it's rude to snip a post then it is also rude to not click on the blue button that takes you back to the post in question.

I think we're talking about being rude to different people.
I don't even consider it rude, per se. Just an inconvenience to others.

You may be replying to someone specific, but other non-specified readers are going to be reading it as well, and you replying to "snip" is discourteous to the reader. It's not necessarily about the person you're quoting.

Fair enough. Although I mostly just snip more out of habit because I tend to respond to specific individuals. It usually just comes down to how lazy I'm feeling and how many folks I'm replying to at once. Or if I'm just being lazy and don't bother to snip.

By the way, have been meaning to ask this for a while. I don't really know how to read Eorzean that well haha. What does that say in your signature? I've been curious about that for a while.

Back in 1.0, Marauder had a trait that where if they stood still long enough this message would pop up and you'd start parrying like crazy. I really liked the ability and back in ARR and kept requesting it a lot, and I mean a lot to be put back in somehow. Then we got Raw Intuition! Pretty similar in concept, so I was happy.

Ahh, okay, I can see it now. Yeah, Raw Intuition is nice...then you go into a dungeon to do a wall pull and forget to bring anticipation. I've had that happen recently -_-
