Talking about job potential/not reaching it I could provide you some feedback if you want it? I'm not perfect and always improving myself.
Well when i first started Savage i did not understand Ten Chi Jen, but thankfully now i at least am more familiar with it, lol.
I am on PS4 so have no parser but i think i have improved.
The only thing if TA is not available but TCJ is, i do not know if i should wait or just use Hellfrog as example.
Another things i have noticed as of late is i must cast mudras slower as they will not register and messes up, sigh

As for not seeing them in PF, it could also be like myself in that outside of raiding i do not really want to play Nin so go as other jobs

Actually, the reason you don't see Ninja's around is because most of them are already in statics lol. You'd be hard pressed to find a static that doesn't run with a Ninja, they basically have had the 1st melee slot locked to them since HW.

So moral of the story is...pretty much play Summoner or Ninja, and you're guaranteed a raid spot?

I could be wrong here, but I don't think using TCJ is the best way to execute a trick attack. Bhavacakra has a cooldown that roughly aligns with trick attack (it's 10 seconds shorter, but works when it comes to building ninki) so I will always use that as my ninki dump under trick attack and use TCJ to execute Fuma>Katon>Doton and fire frog when I have ninki to spend and neither of the other two are off cooldown.

    And Bard/MCH.

But honestly just play what you like. You'll play much better on a job you're comfortable with, and you'll still find plenty of parties. Just not speedruns, they'll lock you out sadly.

You're supposed to setup as many tricks as possible using TCJ suiton.
You don't want to delay trick attack though.

Yeah that is the only thing I don't like about this game. I don't do the party finder mainly because I get enough elitism and snobbish behavior at work. I don't need it in my mmos, and if I ever got kicked from a group because of a parser or class I like play...It would probably kill one of the only two nights I get to enjoy the game.

What happened to playing a game for the social and fun of it over bragging rights?

So is there some major reason you don't see many in the ques? Or am I just worried for nothing?

I totally can feel ya... running with a mid core static which is trying to find their way to hardcore - im more or less the only one of my grp who doesn't care numbers, bis, grp comps etc. that much. I get discussions here and there why not giving the 110% in endgame but I do – just not in "raiding"... the main problem asking for job qualities is that the community usually defines "endgame" by raiding, so if people like you ask for cls/systems/skills/qualities most of them will answer based on raid-relavance. That being said like everybody else mentioned before Nins popularity in "endgame" is grp support: nearly every real static got his own private Nin cause its the base of your grp-overall dmg.

Looking at pve that advantage decreases a lot, cause no other content need that kind of grp synergy and the fact alone that you can't plan your buffs in detail with randoms like you can with your static makes the cls less relevant out of raiding.

...but like Exil said just play what ever you like most especially in pve - I played Nin in HW pve and it was hella fun, tried it for raiding and failed pretty hard... Nins are 2 different worlds for me in both endgames. For me its hella fun to jump around like Hemmy on coke totally free swapping between mudras and melee combos all the time in dngs, primal farming, fates etc yaahh - its refreshing & fast and you can spontaneously react to nearly every situation...

...but being the core of your raiding-grps overall dmg, focusing more on timed trick attacks and smoke, always using the strongest mudras (wayne all the others...) and stacking to fix positions cause of massiv aoe-phases/mechanics was like putting its spirit & character in chains... and was killing everything I love about this cls : /

so yeah its up to you if your Ninja goes for your endgame or theirs ^^
