That'll certainly make Ridorana gear seem irrelevant a month after release (though people will still have to run it and Rabanastre for the coins).

It's because of my assumption with Eureka Pagos that I'm just sitting in the 'don't really care' camp.
This does not address anything I said.
1. System currently (to be outdated in 4.3) is easier to gear alt jobs then the proposed 4.3 changes. reason? Because of the weekly lock out. if a healer or w/e does not need on the item, it is free to go with 6/5/3 (or w/e people) with the proposed greed wide, winning is less likely

For outdated content, you go the job you need the glam for, to actually win something vs people botting greed for seals.

2. Proof of Japanese playerbase asking for this

How do we know the development team is making this change just because they feel it is better? There is no benefit to this change what so ever. The development team is so out of touch of the user base they might as well be on mars.
