Meh imma do it weekly and ignore glamours like they never existed.

JP players are almost 40% of the active player base.

Yes thus it makes them not even half of the playerbase.

In the end if they truly want to gear alts they could have gotten in there with them and roll need. Because again, if you dont like playing with that job why gear it up? And if you do play it then why not just run the 24 man with it? (And if its not even geared up enough to run the 24 man raid..then it seemingly is not that important otherwise one could have geared it up between the patches with for example Eureka)

I just dont expect them to change something, that was at least fair to most of us. Tanks had a longer queue but if the item finally showed up they would surely get it. Now tanks might still have a longer queue than Healers and DD but if the tank piece drops they have to roll against up to 7 people..

(And I dont take SE that seriously with feedback. I mean we got Diadem 2 out of Diadem 1 after quite a big amount of feedback..something that is even death in japan)

Well good luck for everyone else that wanted this for their main because they are not up to date because you might now lose it to someone that gears up another job which is not needed to play this game.

Also good luck to any new people that wants to gear with this raid but joins it when the weekly lock is away (or those that want glamour pieces)...when a lot of people will just roll greed on everything.

I hope the gear is ugly like the Rabanastre Raid gear so I don't feel compelled to farm them. There wasn't a single piece of gear in Rabanastre that I found appealing.

Also, Does anyone have any idea Why they would want to implement this idea?? Magic DPS already have a crazy hard time rolling for loot because everyone and their mother playes one

It seems that the reason was to help people with their other jobs to get gear. So that instead of having to run it with the job that you want gear with you can now run with the job you want to and get gear for the other jobs..its just sad because that hurts tanks and healers probably the most and it does not really guarantee that much of a bigger chance for the other people since you know might roll against more people. (Especially when the weekly lockout is gone) If they at least gave us tokens at the same time this would have felt less bad..so I agree with you, I really hope that the sets dont look so good otherwise farming that for glamour would be even more a nightmare than before..

They could have easily changed this without it being negative for others by introducing tokens.

Have daily tokens for the recent raid. This way you can get a piece of gear in the raid itself with need or greed and an extra piece per week if you run it each day. This would only be there if this is the most recent raid thus keeping olders still alive for glamour runs and as soon as a new raid comes out, the tokens will go to this new raid. This way you will help those with more than one job but keep it fair for the rest too. And for all of those that come later they can loot any item anyway for glamour and stuff.

That's the issue right there. I get the reasoning, but as someone with other jobs, I'd just run at the other jobs and hope rng was in my favor. now they stripped even that away, I honestly won't be running the alliance raids as much anymore and it stinks cuz i need to play catch up atm...

Well they did say they are taking feedback on this so lets hope enough people don't like it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
