Thoughts on the New Gear

I'd flip aiming and nin.

They tend to give more coat like outfits to aiming. The aiming you have labeled looks like most ninja gear with fabric on the side only.

The coat one was confirmed as "melee" in the livestream, so it's either MNK/SAM, NIN or DRG.

Maybe DRG. I know people are putting them in the robes with the tank, but... I also see them in coats like that, too. It just looks so weird to be NIN (not that it's stopping them, ofc.) I'd personally say the lala = NIN, the other robe = BRD, the coat = DRG... but I was also 100% wrong on everything else, so that's just a theory.

true, people are guessing robes for tank cuz the bottom is a copy of the void ark tank bottom. but its totally possible to do brd.

I just don't see the lala as anything but ninja gear. A coat for ninja would just be odd. so if they did say melee. id lean dragoon then. but we shall see soon enough!

Edit: looking at the picture again, i can see brd for the one robe. some of its lines remind me of a gear set but i cant remember the set off hand.

Note they gave NIN a coat for Midas and level 66 crafted, so it wouldn't be the first time.

BRD sharing a design with tanks would be more uncommon than NIN wearing coats, maiming is the set that more often than not shares design with fending.

Let's be honest, none of this is really "traditional", so I guess right now it's all up in the air. (Sure, tanks sometimes get robes, but usually they're coat-robes, not just straight up cloth wraps like that.) We'll see soon enough, but I am kind of excited now. Some of it's crap, but some of it's really interesting, and if they are all breaking the stereotypical setups for most classes, then it means I'll have some new stuff to add to my... uh... full glamour dresser.

I know which is why i assumed the second robe was drg, but the far right is fairly spiky and correlates with alot of gear done for dragoons.
