Looks pretty nice, although I could easily see it looking worse on some races/genders than on others. I doubt it will replace my current gear set unfortunately.

I’m still confused about why they decided to edit the pants to cover the thighs...

All I care about is whether they kept the open window on the male caster set, seeing as that was a big part of the original design concept. If they changed that and put darker pants there instead, I will be extremely disappointed.

The original caster design looks good, but the others they took way too many liberties, if it wasn't for reusing the same color there would be little to link the other armor sets with the caster set, they look nothing like the caster, they didn't even add the cape or glowing horns to non caster, which were very much a core element of the original design.

I guess my question here is... are these just male/female versions of 4 sets (Melee/Ranged, Caster, Healer, Tank), or are they all representing a different class set? Are the two robed figures in the back both healers? Or are they caster and healer? My friend and I were arguing over that. The original caster design looks good, but the others they took way too many liberties, if it wasn't for reusing the same color there would be little to link the other armor sets with the caster set, they look nothing like the caster, they didn't even add the cape or glowing horns to non caster, which were very much a core element of the original design.

The two robed figures are actually a tank and (most likely) a Dragoon, the healer set is the second one from the left.I guess my question here is... are these just male/female versions of 4 sets (Melee/Ranged, Caster, Healer, Tank), or are they all representing a different class set? They represent different jobs
Tank, healer and caster were confirmed in the live letter.
Far left is using MNK weapons sheathed on the side.
DRG is my own assumption as DRG usually gets a "lite" version of tank gear.
NIN was labeled as "melee" in the live stream but since we already found MNK and possibly DRG only NIN remains.
And by elimination the lala would be BRD/MCH.

Thank you! SO WEIRD, THOUGH. That 'NIN' set looks exactly like I'd put on a tank. Oh, well! Not what I'd expect... but it means I get some of the sets I like xD!They represent different jobs

I'd flip aiming and nin.
They tend to give more coat like outfits to aiming. The aiming you have labeled looks like most ninja gear with fabric on the side only.
"Within each of us, the potential for great power waits to be released."
It's confirmed that you can dye them?
