Was there a point besides achievements, minions, and mount to begin with? People can still go in in sets of 2-4, I rent out my FC airships to people.

Achievements, mounts and minions. That's content and people want it. Either that or experience the content itself? Not everyone has a FC or know a FC that would rent their airships. I congratulate you if you do. That only applies for the Diadem. Try to gather 72 players for the PvP modes that are now empty. We can argue and say we have a PF option for the raids, but I see nothing wrong on having an alternative in DF for other players, which is thankfully addressed on the next patch.

They actually do act on the feed back. Takes a while to be implemented people just want results right away and lack common sense to realize that feed back is implemented in phases not days. Those with options or some type of solutions get more attentions. Being I work in a similar field all feed back is categorized by a team and passed up for upcoming patches. Related feed back from players does make a difference we just don't see it right away.

I don't think you got my point. I'm not talking about content feedback. We all know they gather it, but when you unsub nothing happens. You don't get any mail or survey asking why you left. Even some cheap software asks you for feedback when you uninstall it. Why XIV is not doing it, is beyond me. Specially after they stated their concerns about the players that leave the game without saying a word. What feedback do you get from those? None. And that's what I'm talking about here.
