    I can officially report that I am having problem logging on to the game:

    - Platform:
    PC

    - the nature of the latency
    Error 2002 ad nauseum. Latency is massive. And I log in to Aether.

    - Type of connection
    Wireless desktop

    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
    Chrome browser

    - Everything you have tried to resolve the issue:
    Restarted the computer, the modem, the router. Error 2002 apparently is a server-side issue. This needs a hotfix and you guys out there need to act NOW.

    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

    Please make sure all background applications (including anti-virus programs such as Norton, Kaspersky, Windows Defender, etc.) have been disabled and/or closed to minimize game interference.

    If you have properly configured your router, and you are still experiencing these issues, bypass the router and connect your computer directly to your modem. Please ensure that you power down both the modem and the computer for at least five minutes before attempting to connect to FINAL FANTASY XIV.

    We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
    I'm on the Ps4 as I specified earlier but I've done multiple tests and nothing works, I can play just fine with my VPN but that's just a workaround I do using my router.

    Einmimiria, we really appreciate your help and care for us.

    I cant do that cuz im on PS4. But yeah, I checked the cookies on PS4 browser as u asked before. Still not working.

    But as we said before, this connection problem happened before, exactly the same way. Some ISP couldnt log in the game.

    Also If I use my another ISP from my smartphone, I can log in the game and play completely normal.

    Last time this happened was on SE to solve this and they took around one week.

    The problem now is that we have few ppl affected compared to last time this same problem happened which may take a time to SE find out that.

    Not Working, obviously I'll stop paying subscription since we can't connect if we're not subscribed and while I AM SUBSCRIBED Square just says "it's your problem".
    and I got the game on PS4 and PC, both giving me the same problem.

    At ps4 I even reinstalled the game, plus a lot of people with the same exact problem, I just a player, but really, it doesn't take much to know it's not a isolated problem.

    guess we have to wait more, damn, some friends are able to log on after after insistently trying, like 1h or more trying, and sooner or later get a 90k error and have to try log in again X_X

    I just checked, my launcher is loading normally. But my free login days were eaten up because of this mess so I can't confirm if it's working again and I won't sub again until I know everything's in order. Can someone with an active sub check it out now please?

    thanks for sharing, here not yet X_X, I was able to login, but no play button appears. also seems like today log is better
