What do you guys think? And beyond carbuncle I wonder what summons we could get maybe Valefor, Ixion, Diabolos? I for one would love Siren :3.

Well you're forgetting that the Summoner job is confirmed as not getting the big summons. They are getting spirits and monsters I believe was the exact wording, like Carbuncle as an example (not confirmed as being used). Only Free Companies will get access to the big Primal summons and even then it'll be few and far between judging by their concept ideas.

I thought Yoshi said we aren't having a traditional SMN class/job, that it will be an ability that the player can use on any/all/some classes/jobs, then it would have to be recharged (or something like that) to be used again.

Or did I miss something new he announced? I liked SMN, I wouldn't mind seeing it again, but I thought a pure SMN specific job/class was off the table the way he was last talking? I will GLADLY be corrected, because I really like SMN.

I found the interview where he says it! Someone should have linked to it lol, I hadn't heard of this interview but I am happy to see that SMN is confirmed in some form
