Now all we need is a male version of the blackbosom attire. And female version of the butler attire. Some may think I'm joking but I'm being completely serious.

a maid's outfit doesn't qualify as allowing a female character to dress in male clothing.

I don't see how it would widen any gap. In my honest opinion there shouldn't even be gender restrictions period. The bunn outfit is a step in the right direction. and before you get bent out of shape over cross dressing just remember its just as valid as dressing in a bikini or ghost outfit and doing the main storyline.

The issue of the bunny set was that it meant that females could wear the two female outfits and the one unisex “male” outfit. Now everyone has access to the male and female outfits, so we get 3 sets for males, 3 sets for females. Using your own example:I don't see how it would widen any gap. - There is no male equivalent to the female Blackbosom set.
- There is a female equivalent to the male Butler set.
If we made the Butler attire unisex, females would get the female set and the male set. Even if they gave the blackbosom a male equivalent, at the end of the day females would get 3 outfits (the maid set, the butler set, the blackbosom set) while males get 2 outfits (the butler set, the blackbosom set).
I have zero issue with crossdressing of any kind. Feel free to check my post history![]()

Now SE unlocks all the gender-exclusive gear right? Right? Please I need more butch-y options for my fem au'ra.And I want to put my male alts in dresses p l e a s e .

Square doesn't have to limit themselves or put much effort: if they make a piece of cloth aimed to one gender, take that exact piece and apply it to the other gender. Don't change a thing, just like these male bunny outfits, or the rest of the clothes aimed for men but that women can wear, like the bestman suit.
And while we're at it, cover up the female DRG's AF1 costume, the frostbite in Coerthas alone would kill her before a dragon can claw at that sort flesh.
