Personally, like her, I am a bit confused myself...I understand they took awhile to do it, but they are listening and doing what was requested.

Some people kept mentioning they want males to have the exact same outfits as females and now they get it and...they wanted something different? But why? I thought most of the arguments on the forums were to have males have the same exact choices as females D:

To be fair those images people are linking, you could create a glamour like that with items we already have in-game right now, since it ls bare chest it isn't overly complicated to recreate. The bunny outfit for guys being released as per the OP picture is actually something you could not recreate in-game.

I know the ribbon is a bit big and not quite the same but still add the bunny ears to that when they add it and you kind of have something very similar to what is in those images.

I personally am rather glad they ported over the whole actual set I will totally put that on my alt (which is the one in those pictures) and of course drive my boyfriend nuts because it is a copy of his character /evil laugh.

Is true. I wasn't trying but sadly it comes naturally to me on the internet.

Also add some cuffs to those images (perhaps dyed tantalus cuffs? I've not messed with that set much) and I think you're on your way to this more masculine bunny suit. Really seems like all that was missing was ears.

At this point I'm not sure if a better alternative wouldn't have been to just make the ears gender-unlocked and let us put together something similar, really. I mean the Aymeric outfit didn't become gender neutral despite the hair being unlocked, and the ears are the key element here.

This reminds me of that comics that's been going around of how Zenos lured the male WoL over with a bunny outfit. There they had more what I had hoped for, hot pants similar to the Ruby Cotton Smalls and a vest-corset combo.
As it is, it's been reduced to yet another set that's seen as a joke and just number fodder because "look guys got another set, be quiet now" regardless of how well received it is (mixed on arrival) and how many people will actually end up wearing it. I'll deffo get the ears, and we'll see about the top. The sleeves are offputting but eh, I'll see how it actually looks like on my guy.

I can see where the confusion lies, but there are two different point of views that have been roaming the forums for years: people who want equality in the number of glamours (this is, if you're gonna release a female-only feminine outfit also release a male only masculine outfit, not female + unisex feminine outfit or just female) and people who wanted gender restrictions fully removed, as in males wearing feminine outfits and females wearing masculine outfit (if any?). You'll find people from the second camp happy because they can cross dress with feminine bunny outfit, but people from the first camp unhappy because it just continues the ongoing trend of either female-only outfit or feminine outfits.

Another confusion probably came from the spring pants thread where people from the first camp also wanted gender restrictions removed, this is because those pants are not feminine, nothing about them warranted a gender restriction, yet they did it and gave males generic looking pants #357.

For all intents and purposes ears are (finally) unlocked, so you can put together something like Miste did and glamour over bunny ears, too bad the bowtie is not dyeable.

I think they really could have gotten away with just the ears, but will be interesting to see what glamour combos come out of this.

It was mostly gay players who wanted this, you'll see a few. It does it's role if you want a camp/drag set, especially the fishnets. They probably could have modified the bottoms to be cutoff shorts, but I don't think anyone was realistically expecting straight men to wear a casino-style bunny suit, it looks ridiculous on them.

Oh ffs, those spring shorts are feminine to the nines. No man would ever wear shorts that form fitting or cut that high. I'm not sure what they could have replaced it with.

To make a quote manually (if you'll ever want to do it to quote a post in multiple parts or whatever), you can do it in one of three ways.

Typeless quote which just makes the text in the quote box, like this:
Text
will appear as this
    Text
Named quote which will add the name of who you quote, like this:
Text
will appear as this

It's possible to make a quote inside a quote, like this:

Name

gives this

The quote box can be used for non-quote related stuff too cause it separates part of the text from the rest so is good for titles or what have you. Stuff that is supposed to grab attention. Unless for that, it's best to avoid a quote inside a quote.

    I know, off topic...but yeah.

I am 99% sure every single glamour set in this game that's gender locked for females has a version of that set that's gender locked for males, the only one I can think of off the top of my head where that's not the case is the Bridesmaid/Bestman sets where it's a female set and a unisex set, every other set in the game is either two sets for each gender or just one unisex set.

Even in the cash shop when they release a gender locked set they usually release one for the other gender not soon after (Cid and Minfillia, Y'shtola and Thancred, Aymeric and Lyse).
The only egregious example of gender locked gear for females only was really the bunny suit, which is being rectified in 4.3 now anyway.
