We simply wont ever have the 100% safety that they are truthful and that the community will accept it but I dare to say that this would still be the minority of things and if they would be open about it then why should we not trust them? The fear of things happening in the worst possible way can be quite the hindrance.

In the end you can play devils advocate to every single arguement but at least for me such a improvement would have more positives than negatives.

And maybe people have not accepted negative comments from SE before because they feel like really cheap excuses.
