What's your first impression of Eureka?

Not sure why you feel the need to condemn them for it. They went in there, didn't enjoy themselves, and then died. Sounds like a reasonable first impression to base their decision on and it rings close to what many of us feel, only we decided to try again (not mandatory!) and managed to hop aboard the Train which most likely was not the intended way to play this game mode. People here are ignoring the fact that "it gets better at level xx" is part of the problem of this design rather than anything to instill hope.

Perhaps a portion of the players claiming Eureka gets better MIGHT be suffering from a Sunk-Cost Fallacy?

Also I posted my first impressions being a high level too... and problems it needs addressing.

It still would be nice to get a bit more information for the other Eureka parts..so that we can decide if it might get better or not. Also can they maybe stop with the "OMG we have content that nobody would have ever thought to see!" This will just mostly end in overselling stuff. I mean Eureka was also meant as "something that has never been seen in mmos before" which was seemingly used at a fanfest. The same with the one Titan fight or the Kojin beast tribe..where I still wonder what that new and innovative stuff was..

(And wasnt Eureka kinda meant to be the SB content yet suddenly they have something even better in store that will make people wonder and say What?..)

It is ok, they will have some people act like it is new and "fun" just like this release of diadem 3.0.
