Yeah, it is met positively and seen as refreshing by “those people”. “Those people” are the one’s that make you feel “sad,” because you do not see the content like they do.
You are too “woke” and they are not.
See the problem. This content isn’t seen as refreshing to you. You are the variable you keep leaving out of this. Own your stuff.
Your complaining speaks differently. You have something in mind that you want with Eureka versus the reality. You are not telling anyone what you wanted, instead you are complaining about what is there.
What is it that you wanted with Eureka? What new and refreshing content you would have like to have seen?
All I see is the same complaining that is in your post in other posts.
I never had an argument, just like you never had any. You are just complaining with the same exact complaints that everyone else is bitching about. Just like everyone else with the same complaints you are:
-Not telling anyone what you wanted with Eureka
-Still participating in Eureka even though you don’t like it.
I imagine you “playing” Eureka like I play dungeons, ½ way paying attention and wish I could AFK full time.
You are not wrong on reskins and redesigns. The difference here: you care greatly, and I couldn’t care less. That’s the different.
As for the move sets, stop AFKing and try to actually pay attention to moves, you will notice a difference for almost every mob. It’s even more notable when you solo the mobs.
You want to know what I think of Eureka, get ready to have your mind blown:
Eureka is SE openly stating that everything in this game is getting a value to “0.” Whether that be killing a mob to set its HP to “0,” clicking on an glittering thing that sets its tag value to “0”, or crafting to set those component values to “0” , etc. the whole game is that. Eureka is just getting to “0” bluntly.
No need to run through a dungeon to give the illusion of progression to the next things to get to “0”, here are a bunch of mobs, zero them out. SE tells us to give them enough “0”s or zeroing mobs out of a specific placeholder to give you a bigger mob to zero out for lolboxes that you will zero out for stuff.
That’s it. Nothing spectacular. Nothing grand epiphany, no great defense of Eureka. I just see this as SE telling us openly “it’s just getting something to zero, we just package it differently.” The packaging appeals to me as well SE’s bluntness.
Your bluntness is very appreciated. It is one of the freedoms that the internet allows bluntness. Not being sarcastic here.

What’s your argument here?
-Eureka doesn’t compare to FFXI? Well no shit. I played FFXI from US release to several months into Audolin expansion. Eureka isn’t FFXI, it’s just killing mobs and spawning bosses in a giant room for drops. There’s just no linear path from point A to point B like dungeons, beyond The Train (which players made that)
-You are unfortunately contributing to a metric that others will shame you for contributing to?
-Game mentality is poop?
-I truthfully don’t know how many players do dislike Eureka? No shit, neither do you. Most of the posts in “First Impressions” are complaints, yes, but they are also the same people posting in the thread. So we don’t have any real numbers. Forums are just a small percent of the population.
What’s your point on engaging me, beyond rambling and trying to White Knight Star?
