SE forgot, that is the issue. Maybe that is what they meant new and innovative?

Why are you bothered exactly? Do you like... not read what people say?As you wish...I hope you're aware that by participating, your position regarding Eureka is irrelevant, because you're still increasing the overall number of people doing it, which is the only metric SE can use to judge if the content is a success or not, especially since this character is obviously not the one you run Eureka with.
And frankly, after being so adamant about how no one should enjoy it, the simple fact that you're still running it for whatever reason is baffling.
What bothers me is that either your SO likes it, and I wonder why you already didn't prove to him/her that s/he's wrong for that, since you seem so convinced by how no one should, or s/he doesn't like it and you're both running something that's not even fun for you...in case you might want to remember what's the main point of video games.
I'm like level 12 now and yeah...I still feel like this type of grind doesn't work in this game.
All it does is give you carpal tunnel constantly killing over and over of the same mobs.
It was ok in FFXI cause the combat was slower, but eh...
I'm still in there doing it though because I am afraid if I don't at least get close to max level then I'll be left behind if I ever did need something from there. I also maybe want to try to complete a relic.
I'm doing the content, but I'm not really enjoying it. It is boring waiting for NMs to spawn and especially if it is at a higher level NM where I can't really help kill mobs because I'm too weak...I end up just helping with raises and playing my 3DS.
As for EXP grinding it is also boring...and causes hand cramps etc too much spam over and over for long periods of time.
The only entertaining thing about being in there is just laughing when people get rekt by mobs lol and/or watching the NM train choo choo into level 17 mobs and then seeing like 10-20 players get cleaved and die in a pile lol...honestly SE should have given monsters Achievements cause that deserves a "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" achievement for the monster lol "Kill 20 players with one attack"
It was even said in this very thread, people are forcing themselves to 20 so they are not being left behind, there is already a hard to deal with level gap.
Explain to me how with all the delays how it was overlooked to have a level sync feature in this? (ignoring the fact this place is extremely basic in what you do and could been done anywhere without the development time sink)
I am also wondering how many people there are that complained about yo kai but happen to like this.
etc etc...I think HW relic option was more friendly and open to more casuals. Eureka punishes you if you werent there the first week or few days to play, to where if the majority of the playerbase is lvl 10+ and you are lvl 1, you cant group up with them because any enemy they kill you wont get xp and they wont get xp.
At least with HW you were doing a wide variety of content instead of the mindless NM train. And at least it helped new players to the game with the leveling queues and got people back out into the open world.
Now its just run Eureka so you wont get left behind when the next step for the relic comes by. No need to run ex dungeons or trial roulette, just run Eureka and hop aboard the NM Train Choo Choo.
The problem with Eureka is it doesnt offer a good enough variety of ways to level up or even explore the map at that.
If Eureka had daily quests, bounties, group quests or even kill this list of enemies and receive this xp reward instead of just doing the train it would be a better experience. But again the question is how hard is it to put quests and those type of missions that you can pick up inside an instance.
