Because it related to the discussion. You made a baseless assumption about parsers that was wildly inaccurate, which is precisely what you did regarding WHM. I mentioned it to establish consistency; backing up my own claim you have a habit of speaking out your backside. Don't try to spin this. You suggested we not derail the thread in the very post I cited your preceding poor arguments. If you were keen on "ignoring any snark," you wouldn't have taken a potshot afterwards.

How is responding to an ill-informed post on a discussion forum harassment? I’ve mostly stayed out of this debate because it ends up being entirely circular in the end, but calling you out for being uninformed on what the difference between a “parser” is and “triggers” are is hardly considered “harassment”. Correcting you on said things is not “harassment”. And responding to insinuations that one is “obsessed” with you is also not considered “harassment”. If you don’t want to be called out on your own misinformation, post on private blogs where others cannot offer up comments/corrections. Otherwise, expect to be corrected when you post and your information in said posts is incorrect/ill-informed.


To relate back to the original purpose of this thread (since I’m in here now), which was about self-expectations and performance: I understand entirely where you are coming from, Kaiva. I deal with it a lot in just about every aspect of life, because I have extremely high self-expectations, and failure to meet them or falling short causes me a lot of stress and anxiety. In order to cope with it, all I’m trying to do is ignore the screaming voices in my head that reprimand me for not meeting an impossible level of perfection. But it is very hard; I will never claim that ignoring your own self-doubt is easy.

What is good about this, is that you have recognized things about yourself, and recognization is one of the steps you need to take in order to rectify the problems, which will ultimately lead to you being happier overall. I don’t think you should give up; I think you should keep trying. Try not to feel too down about gray parses (it’s hard, and I know it is because I’ve been there before); instead, look at them and seek advice on how you can improve. I’m sure someone already mentioned it, but I would join The Balance Discord, if you are not already in there, and ask other SMNs in the SMN Discussion/Questions channels about what you can do to improve. Link the logs as well; don’t think that they will make fun of you. I frequently read the BRD text channels, and have never seen anyone being made fun of or ridiculed for seeking advice.

I really hope that you are feeling better. For what it’s worth, I believe in you!

To be fair...there was a time for a bit where you replied to me on a lot of posts I made.

It eventually lead me to setting you on ignore and only removing it when you stopped because you weren't being very cordial to me either and it seemed pointless to keep bothering with your replies (since you usually refused to listen to anything I say anyway), and especially since I tried my best to be as polite as possible to keep things civil between us despite your less than polite responses sometimes.

Not really fair to try to say that about others when you've also done it to some degree :/

Bourne isn't harassing you...if you post information that others know to be incorrect they may post to correct said information. Unfortunately sometimes you post information on a topic that you must not have a full understanding of therefore others end up correcting it.

How is it bullying, when this thread is about people who say they know how they play, then admitly saying they don't. I'm not perfect either, but you are pretty much screaming out loud you are bullied, when we only quote what you are saying. You said regen is bad because of aggro, then you show us a video where it shows us ''how healer should play''. I can quote on that easily if you want. Then since this topic showed up and you show up again saying what's wrong or right, then calls everyone elitist or toxic, yet you pinpoint what elitist is but the irony? You act excactly the way you describe an ''elitist''.

I don't know excactly how me or anyone else bully you, because we disagree or try to correct you. If anyone does that to me, does it mean I'm bullied? Nope. Can't count how many times i've been corrected by others in this thread too, doesn't give me the right to scream bullied.
