    Eureka is in no way a grind. I hit level 20 and had 7 weapons completed in a week. Finding it boring is one thing, but it is in no way time consuming.

    I find it utterly absurd that we do not get more input on Eurekas countless technical issues.

    DCs, vanishing mobs and party members, chest/crystal trade in one by one etc.

    It is more time consuming than some players are willing to spend at it & that's a fact, also not everyone have the same schedule. Some players do it in fear of what will happen afterward on a later date, & while you dont find it time consuming, some might.I find no entertainement in that design for the most part.Back on topic, ""We need better comunication with the Community team""

    A grind is a grind, no matter how "easy" it is. It still takes time, and you need to collect currencies. It's not a fun grind, which is an issue. There's nothing amazing about mindlessly killing mobs en masse, popping a fate (which are seriously overused at this point) and killing a bigger mob...and moving on to the next.

    As to the topic...yeah, we really do need better communication. Seems like just about everything that's suggested gets lost in translation...or they simply don't care.

    I disagree with the concept of fun grinding, grinding implies taking your time to continuisly repeat an action while working towards a goal which cannot remain fun, frankly I think we just glance the root of the problem, maybe by that ppl want to say that actually they find the combat itself to be boring, in which case the content is not the culprit, but the combat of the game is.

    I mean before we where talking about glam dresser, and everyone spoke about those problems. Then out of nowhere SE changes the MSQ, then people rant about those changes. Now with diadem 3.0 out, people stop talking about those issues and now just focus on diadem 3.0

    What happened to glam dresser issues? what happened to addressing the MSQ situation? then with all of this we get a post on fireworks and loot boxes =/ What about the misplaced PvP mount for the top 100? that is also weird call

    Since some wanna talk about diadem 3.0, this goes back to my quoted response of the rep we got on it. My issue there is they show no indication of showing they read other things. Level sync for example is requested AN AWFUL lot here and on the Japanese boards. My point is even if they have no plans of implementing said change in the near future, they can at least say "we also see other ideas and concerns about elemental level adjustments and quests. We will forward these ideas as well but we an't guarantee change in the near future in regards to them" least they shows they truly read everything because to me lock box issues is on the lower end of importance, least to me and what I understand. Seems level sync is the biggest.. (Also social searching interfaces like PF is high up there)

Deathscythe Hayashi = current lead item designer who got his name from the same item, was on the stream with Yoshi-p tonight, and to this day and after 14 years, people still remember him and his sins as the man who overpowered a scythe. For those players who haven't played FF11, just imagine the crafted ilv 320 (not 350) NQ weapon being as strong as the Kefka weapon (Ilv375) and only for dark knight).

    So the whole idea behind Eureka was, to gave people just another way to level up from the start? (So the new to MMO system was meant to still feel like the launch of any MMO?) Solo for next one as well..if this is like this one then that will be "great".

    We waited 17 months for content that was meant for the majority and more casual players (thus relic behind it) to have a system that makes people feel like they are back at grinding stuff from the beginning and it seems that we will only get a levelsync system and some small changes and only different elements in the next Eureka part. So our feedback again is for nothing? That completely innovative..can we get stuff completely from the beginning and not somewhere when we are at Eureka 4?

    To get back to the topic: This shows that they have quite the problem with communication..nothing like that was ever told to us before it. Maybe tell us before that you plan on creating a system where people can just grind again..(because the grind at the start of an MMO is so great for many..)

    I really have no words..

    Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
