Deal with the fact people enjoy Eureka. It makes life easier.

No matter how terrible something is, there's going to be someone that likes it.

There are people that truly believe 1.0 FFXIV was the best FFXIV and every update only ruined it. 1.0 was also considered a massive failure, but people did like it still. But Square still changed it up, since just because someone likes it, doesn't mean it's good.

I see your point, but it's making it sound like anyone who likes Eureka will claim there's nothing wrong with it and it's fine the way it is. Eureka isn't perfect and it has features missing that should have been available from the beginning, but can be added at a later date.

Comparing 1.0 and Eureka is also a little unfair. The difference between 1.0 and Eureka is that one is a game (everything), while another is a feature(? Would this be the right word?). Eureka is something you can choose to ignore and it's also something (as said above) that can be updated and 'fixed' over time without requiring an enormous overhaul, which is what needed to be done for 1.0. Can you imagine doing any Extreme/Savage content in 1.0's playstyle?
