It's an issue if Cnj/Whm do nothing but cure bomb because they gave their combos some significant bonuses. Wind increases acc against a target and Earth increases damage against them.

It seems like SE intends to lighten the healing load by 1.21, but thought it couldn't hurt to seek clarification on their general concept. Feb/March is a long way away. It'd just be nice to have some understanding on their thoughts as we move forward. Otherwise it's going to become a hassle rehearing after each patch to adapt to new tactics that they intended all along.

Should I bother with Magic Attack for my Cnj? Would it hurt to boost my Mrd's MP a little?

What will happen to exp parties if no mages are available? I know Yoshida said another Mage class is a priority, but if Cnj is intended to bethe healer, then leveling will become nigh impossible moving forward.

Really, it's an issue that affects everyone. If CNJs have nukes for the sole purpose of soloing, then why don't Thms retain Sacrifice for soloing? Mages are squishy, they need heals to survive solo.

I know the likely response will be "Thms can level Cnj for Cure," but so too can Cnj level Thm for nukes if they wish to solo. As can anyone else easily obtain a cure spell that gets stronger as they level. Additionally, SEvsaid they're altering medicinal items in light of these changes.

There are a lot of what ifs. We don't need specific information down to the formulas. Just their concept on how a party will stay on its feet in .20, .21 and beyond. It'll at least give us an idea on what kind of materia to work on.

Should the LNC with its new low acc combos just do straight up acc equips, or will the CNJ be free enough to try and keep its wind debuff up? Will Pug have to load up on atk, or can it sacrifice some slots for MP and Int (its mentioned in the class changes that a trait will give Blindside and int mod) in light of Cnj's earth debuff? Will THM get to use any of it's own magic, or will it be more of the same where they're a quasi-Cnj?
as far as i know SE has never given advice on how to set up a party, or what role a class will take. the amount of times ppl have asked for clarity on is a PUG an evade tank or a DD? its a question still left unanswered. so i can't see them telling you how they see CON being used, its the sort of thing you need to play around with and find your own style. if it makes you feel any better tho, i believe everybody will have to play around with classes and party set up to figure out wha works best for the new battle/combo system, its new ground for every class not just mages

healers will always be in demand as will a tank as will a DD, its a holy trinity
