Fine tuning my butt, you don't need to have a searchable database of how everyone performs in every instance of the game to fine tune your own progress. It's used to rank people, and often whether or not to accept or reject low performers. That's the moronic aspect of it, and I hate people who whitewash that. Participating in that is perpetuating it.

I've been silently watching this thread, and while a lot of people in this thread have made good points already and I don't feel like retreading on it myself...

I want to say, for someone who has already self-admitted to being sidetracked (and is clearly responsible for sidetracking the entire thread into being purely a parser debate rather than one involving ego VS personal improvement), you seem quite adamant about continuing this distraction yourself. Self-awareness is useless without realizing that shame goes along with it. It is what it is.
