If you follow the train, you are doing it wrong. Its best to go group up and farm mobs for XP while the hive mind spawns NM's for you. Heck, you can even work on different NM's than the mob!
In fact, its pretty fun telling the mob where to go so they try to spawn stuff near where you are farming.
I am glad you are enjoying it though!

@Fyce: Yes calling someone blind fanboy and stuff like that is bad but "joining" their side by behaving rude too does not make it right. An eye for an eye is not a good way to go.
Also people were vocal about stuff like Diadem and the apology of Yoshida and the death of the content showed that they had a right to be vocal. Yes some things like complaining about something being to hard and SE nerfing it might be bad but that does not mean that we are not right about complaining about Eureka. And lets not forget that this time the Japanese players are complaining too. (And quite harsh in some posts) We are here on the forum to post our impression/opinion and its widely negative. We dont know if SE will do something with that or not but there are similiar complains in all languages so there seems to be some major problems with Eureka. The game itself will show how long people are going to play it or not and SE will use their data. We cant force them so saying that we screwed things up is false because we are just posting opinions. Its SEs job to take usefull stuff from it and do something. If they read it wrong or act too harsh with changes its not our fault.
But agree to disagree happens in posts where you kinda can argue about something endlessly because you are of really different opinion. So if they challenged your opinion would agree to disagree not mean that one simply stops an argument on their own because you will know that its pointless? So if you see that they are challenging you again and again then wouldnt it be best to just stop it? I mean I read this argument more than once (agree to disagree) in other different threads, yet the person that wrote it also often never stopped the arguments. I just find it interesting how its often the other side that should stop and not the poster that writes it.
I mean I myself know that it can be easy to fall into a bit of a more aggressive side (even though I try to refrain from any personal insults) but I cant just accept that its fine to be harsh yourself just because the other side might be that way. You yourself said that disrespecting someone is not a discussion. So doing the eye for an eye thing will never get to a great discussion because it will just turn into insults after insults. I just posted those posts of yours to show that it was not just from one side. Not so harsh like others (you did not call us a meme) but still enough that it was getting more about personal attacks instead of discussing the topic itself.
Edit: I mean are pictures and stuff like that really necessary especially in a discussion with a person that did not attack you before that but simply had a different view?
And to not derail it further this will be my last post on this.

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
That's hard to swallow coming from somone who just talked to me about how I used a "poorly made" analogy, even if the main point was very clearly understandable without the need of being 100% technically correct.
Not only you didn't tackled the main point, but it had nothing to do with Eureka.
If you don't want me to argue just for the sake of arguing, why coming at me in such a way?
Keyword in bold.

real question question to ppl that don't like this content ( I don't like it either) why do you feel like that you need to be so aggressive to the points of those liking it? What is the problem exacltyù? Can't they enjoy something we don't like?
Because frankly now it's becoming absurd
You are the one disrespecting people. I do wonder.. not all but a good handful of people that do like it are the ones being rude and disrespectful when I can't recall a single person that hates it, actually disrespecting people.
This is from the first reply of that appreciation thread, flat out attacks people that dislike it. If we want to go there, should I be calling everyone that likes it white knights and unable to analyze things that is presented to them? Why is it ok for people that like to personally attack those that dislike it, while people tat dislike it are only trying to state valid reasons why it has problems, only to be ignored and be called "haters"?
I got blacklisted by someone just because I said they stated conflicting quotes, and quoted both their quotes to show they said that. It was continued to tell me they did not say that (even though I quoted it? all I was doing is quoting them) and said I was claiming they where being insulting. How am I being insulting for simply saying to someone, you said 2 different things, here is the quotes? Another person that liked this diadem 3.0 insulted me on the bases of post count and join date "that is the person we are dealing with" that is a personal attack. Most of the personal attacks are coming fro the people that like it, and that holds true with you as well, Fyce. This is why our posts are in general getting more likes then yours (since you bought up that issue first as well)
You are correct.
You are also correct, ty for showing how they where being insulting, while telling us we are being insulting when no such thing took place. I am tried of hearing "it is like ffxi, oh you do not remember ffxi, it is good because it is like ffxi" .. when it has nothing to do with ffxi with how you go about killing things. It is like abyssea at best, though even abyseea was more entertaining.
Or the "it is good because there is a social aspect" There is a social aspect everywhere if you try talk to people, i guess people need be somewhat forced to, and that is a praise for good content? I am confused. for me there is no social aspect running from NM to NM.
kettle black, the only person here not having a constructive discussion is you.
If the minority was the ones thinking it is bad, people trying it out NOW as low level wouldn't have issues finding parties, sorry people that find issues with this place is the majority. Every time I enter I have a hard time getting into a party my level. It is 100% trash and you claimed we are lying if we say that.
Rather do that then this mindless nonsense. You have to remember the main point people are trying to bring up. You spend too much time doing nothing for this. Least 2.0 relic you are helping other people's queues. It is .. weird... to me.. that someone enjoys this but I need to question, do you think this is enough effort and work for 17 months? striping away content from SB and releasing something you can do anywhere pretty much? They could of reborn diadem 2.0 and have the same effect, fate grinding.
I figured out how to have "fun" or least "ignore it" I am getting progress done in ffxiv while I am afk auto following my SO as I play phone games and post on the forums.
For me, it is just debunking false information, esp when it comes to being inline with "being like ffxi" or how I feel some are simply here to mislead "it does not take long" (while neglecting to state they are no lifing rushing it)It is not fun at all to feel no progress after 6 hours, that is not fun. Other then that it is replying to people that like it that come with personal attacks, as explained above in this post.

seekers of adoulin seen my cousin playing it on the pc chaining monsters hard mobs who crush you instantly.
That was my first impression seekers of adoulin also caused a lot of people to quit in FFXI cousin quit because of it reason he said once people stopped doing the runs after a while and became empty it was really hard to find help and forced him to retire.
then he came here.
He heard they lowered the monsters some but it was too late.
Where is the 17 months of development coming from? This was likely finished content awhile ago, and they have been fixing bugs, and probably making adjustments to the instance servers.
Did you know that low level players complained about the atma grind because they couldn't get XP from fates due to them being zerged down before they could get to them?
Did you know that it took people months to get the first set of atmas pre-nerf, and it was only for a marginal increase, because they then had to do animus books to get the actual weapon upgrade?
And to get said books, took 10500 Mythology Tomestones. It was a hell of a grind. This is nothing in comparison, and actually fosters co-operation, where atma farming and animus books really didn't
