XIV is bigger than you, no one cares if you unsub.I have over 478 days of playtime , not days subscribed that is hours logged. I love Final Fantasy 14 and the majority of the content released until 4.1. This recent patch Eureka is a endless zergfest grind that is just so pointless for gear.
Give us EX trials we cant beat in 4 pulls with no guide
Give us these " harder 4 man dungeons or Min i level sync challenges
Give us a real open world content not this endless mob mashers we have
Fix your normal mode raid difficulty its to easy and savage should be savage not semi- cupcake difficulity.
Remember what the players like, we love the thrill of dodging mechanics and learning, weaving in rotations in difficult situations, the crazy clutch healer or tank limit breaks the synergy and teamwork needed to bring down the realms worst foes.
We do not like Mob Mashers eureka.

Its not about, that you have to grind in Eureka. Yes, its optional. But its just a huge waste of resources and time, which could be spent way better on other parts of the game. I kinda miss the good old days back in ARR, where even normal dungeons were some kind of challenge. Or as we had more than 2 dungeons in our expert roulette. When Titan HM was really hard.

It's still optional content, as is most everything else in this game.Stop with this "it's optional content" nonsense. For a casual player, someone who don't have a huge amount of playtime, yeah sure it is. But for all the players that aren't pleased with Eureka, it's not optional AT ALL since it's the only new content that have at their disposal or else they must do again the same things they are already doing for weeks and months.
So, no, it's not optional. And yes, there are good reasons to not be OK with this.
People can be upset over it, that's fine. Cancelling a sub is also fine. We all have a point where it's best to walk away if you no longer enjoy the game or have an issue with the direction is going.
But geezus, did we really need ANOTHER thread about this? I'm sure this could have been squeezed into any of the ton already littering the front page.
I think you are missing his point. Its about the fact that since 2.0 they havent really done anything to innovate and expand upon the game as a whole. New content =/= innovation. If they are unhappy with the game, something that was promised to be dynamic and entertaining not living up to a quarter of the billing IS enough to make someone leave. Especially if they have a prolonged sense of stagnation.
The only difficult dungeons were Aurum Vale, which people avoided, and Pharos Sirius, which got nerfed. I agree here. I'm just trying to be less pessimistic and have hopes some of these ideas people posted will reach the dev team. I tried Eureka twice, and I'm the casual player with 1-2 hours game time due to work, doing my share of ex trial runs but I have no energy to grind Eureka. I find other things to do in game but I fully understand people who maxed jobs or have no interest in crafting/gathering were looking forward to this and it... is not all that fun.Its not about, that you have to grind in Eureka. I m also a casual and I have no time for Eureka. My 2 hours per day are limited to reaching my tomes cap, leveling my alts and beat Sigma Savage via PF as much as i can (no, I m not a Raider). I m not interested in mindless mashing mobs for 2 hours. Not for that gear. Not in content which was promised as "something new".I agree here.
