Why going back 10 years doing Korean Farming Content?

Yep and its release was even delayed a couple of times because they said it wasn't ready and needed more testing.

That is truly pathetic those people at SE should be ashamed of themselves. This content they released just now should have taken a lot shorter time to do because there is basically no meat on the bone if you know what I mean. They could have done something truly great like hamlets where they could have even included people that crafted so many things they could have done besides recycle the same old garbage with a shiny new map....Hell I would have scrapped this whole thing and gone with a new hamlet system all on its own which would have gotten everyone included even if just a little.

There's no fun factor in this. You're not wracking up currency fast enough to feel the impact, mobs aren't dying fast enough to give you any real thrill, and you don't actually have to think. Look, I too feel nostalgia but not for shouting out that I'm a lv4 WHM LFG. It's not for standing in one spot murdering the same mobs over and over again until you decide you need to go somewhere else (anywhere else) and kill a different kind of mob for a little while.

You know who I feel the worst for? Anyone who joins after this expansion or wants to build this expansion's relic weapon in the future. Because there will be exactly nobody else in that zone.

It's always like this scenario: You clear things fast, nothing to do. Huge grind fest and somethig to do, = no thanks. Every MMO have some grinding system and relic is our grind in FF14. As much as I think it's silly they started with the gear being ilvl 350/355, I think weapons should at least been 360 and not 355. I do kinda get the idea here, they want to give something to people who doesn't raid or rarely do it to obtain higher ilvl gear. Relic have been the same ever since launch of this game. If you don't like the grind, that's fine. Just don't come and say you want something for way more less effort. Besides majority of people who do grind relic are also mostlikel non raiders, so you will obviously get lower ilvl. I think when they polish it a bit more in future it be good. I have't done much in there either due to no time, but quite enjoyed it with my friends.

Literally, I used to do this in my first ever MMO back when I was 11 years old (I'm age 26 now) constantly killing the same old stuff for hours on end hoping for a level rofl.

I am glad that MMO's have changed. It was boring then, and is boring now.

I doubt that people asked for the same grind we did in 2004 XD to not be able to play with friends.

I think they made a test with the Yokai Watch Event... to see how people would react to grind.
And it works. Now we have Eureka.

Yokai event had different fates in different regions where you could level lowbie jobs, get FATE achievements, the rewards gradually required more grind but you could still get something within just a hour. You could solo fates and still work towards the goal with your own pace even if the event was limited. Here? Good luck getting anything on your own.

Still a grindfest but please, there was a difference. >_>;

I actually really like eureka. I for one thought 14 was boring until eureka came out. I hope they don't change anything. People just need to relax and give it a chance. This only came out yesterday. People are just quick to judge things these days.
