What's your first impression of Eureka?

While I'm fine with Eureka for the most part, I can see some flaws and wanted to express my opinions on them. Some people just want a better experience, not instant gratification.

I really just have to ask, did folks really not expect another huge grind? Expectations for this really were far too high and I've personally seen players on my server telling people to avoid it.
