    Ok here an idea

    We have the Airship from the start cs that crashed into Mor Dhona ( where Dodore spawn). Make it so that is a raid. It as a dragon skele surounding it. k so inside u enter thru a hole in the side of the ship, and work your way to the top. see in hte cs i think it was an empire ship. so make the monsters inside astral empire soldiers, the capt room will be your main goal to facethe capt of the ship. His/Her rare drop can be an old relic gunblade or lance whihce the empire has. they can easily make the other weapons empire like

    example:
    DoW : increases ws combos by 20%
    DoM : inceases cures/nukes by 20% (based on which mage)

    they could even allow a full relic style of the empire gear from within different chest on the floors leading up to the capt chambers

    Also done make it like FFXI that anything from a new patch trumps the stuff from older ones. The lvl cap hasnt been increased so it should be like we should totally forget about the other gear that we can get and obtain.

    Dungeons be it instanced or not, i would like the setting to be OUTSIDE. Most instances are usually 100% inside/underground & secluded. One video i've really thought was amazing (setting wise) was a recent one from TERA.



    I'm tired of other games out fantasy-ing Final Fantasy in the fantasy department (lol). I hope FF14 can 1-up this at some point (Mor Dhona is a nice start).

    Those are definitely some great dungeons. I think original Strat is still, to this day, one of my favorites.

    Another great raid was Karazhan. It may have been BC, but it was amazingly designed. It wasn't just linear progression, you had choices. You could skip certain areas (most groups I ran with always skipped the basement). There were optional bosses, but they all dropped good loot, so there was always incentive to try them. The opera event that would be one of three random presentations, so you never knew what it would be until it started. The chess event which felt like a huge mini-game. Not to mention, it was in a huge creepy tower with thematic music. Plus, the quests you had to do. There was a quest chain to gain entry, and a chest chain to get the urn to summon one of the bosses, Nightbane. If you didn't have the urn, you had to skip him.

    I definitely don't want to see all dungeons/raids in this game be timed. I think it's fine for some, or to complete some objectives (WoW did this with quests in Strat and Shattered Halls, and set up the Zul'Aman treasure chests that way). For a couple of raids, it's fun. But I don't want to see that in every dungeon the exploration aspect has been removed, quests are rushed, and people unnecessarily skip bosses just because they're worried about clearing it in time.

    You can't really "out fantasy" anyone, since there's all kinds of fantasy. Lord of the Rings is fantasy and isn't designed like Tera for example.

    Though since you said Mor Dhona as a "good start", you mean completely non-realistic areas in regards to Fantasy.

    Only dungeons I want to see is that from the new expansion before PS3 release. Totally for hard-core goers with no CRAZY MPK rules. (spoilers!!!?)

    If there's a call for a expansion, then the original story plot be complete (presuming the original scenario was done by everyone already)or was there one to begin with?

    how about an open world dungeon that spirals down deep into the ground. multiple lvls, the map is learned via travel, an open ended labyrinth were even finding your way out would be nearly impossible. Different paths have different lvl mobs and lead to rarer drops and harder bosses.
