They've stated in several interviews that 5.0 will most likely be released later in the year than 3.0 and 4.0 were and thus the 4.x series will probably go beyond 4.55.
For Bard:
A healing / regen song with MP drain
A haste song with MP drain
A raise song with a long cooldown or heavy MP/TP useage
An offensive song that deals damage in relation to the amount of buffs currently on other party members
An oGCD ability with a long cooldown that adds an offensive effect to standard rotation ‘songs’ (e.g using it with Ballad increases magic damage, Paeon increases physical, Minuet increases all damage at a lower rate than the other two)
Unfortunately because Bard is so in-demand (and overpowered when considering the dps is generates in conjunction with the raid dps and utility it provides)it’s impossible to add any one of these abilities without breaking the job balance, so we'll just get some more boring laser beam arrows
For DRG - an oGCD that procs with a critical hit on Dragonfire Dive. You dive to the ground in a blaze of glory for DFD, then a red dragon spirit surges upward (think the reverse of mirage dive)
Instead of removing role actions, I would enjoy for them to just make all 10 of them available to the role. Give us a solid kit, not the illusion of choice.
For WAR, I personally would like to see just traits that upgrade current skills to more potent counterparts, with new animations and stronger effects. Also, let Unchained in Deliverance reset the cooldown of Inner Release, give me an IR Window every 45 seconds :P
Access to all role actions and not having to pick which one.
Actual tank and healer balance.
Where all skills are relevant and meaningful( cough cough Dark Passenger cough)
Isn't this what we assume "Duality" is doing, your shadow clone performs the second hitI'd like NIN to get shadow clones somewhere in the 70-80 range, because it's been used multiple times by NPC ninja now, and learning about the fourth mudra required for it would be a logical next-step in NIN's progression (Though I wouldn't want it to be an actual skill , because I already get enough latency issues with three-mudra combos).
It could just be an upgrade to Duality if they wanted to keep button bloat low.
For Duality, it would already be nice if they had a clone appear behind the enemy doing the mimicked attack like that weird Toad that pops up briefly.
Nothing of the kind happens, tho', hence why Duality isn't really considered to suit the fantasy. You're waving your dagger around briefly and the next attack hits harder for some reason. Visually, it's a somewhat awkward ninja skill.
