There's obviously been some screw ups in getting the information back to the dev team, someone or some persons are in some trouble.

The way i see it the only reason it's been fixed was because the issue got so widely known that the issue became known in Japan aswell as the other regions.And when it became known in Japan it went straight to the devs.
Lets be honest here.Its probably not being passed on or taken seriously by Admins from EU and US on some sites as likely some of them have used the exploit themselves or have friends who use it.
