I'm not even sure if this is available but the transfer should be free if you are going to move all your characters from the overpopulated server.
But you know what, even if SE is going to do this i bet whatever you want that only few people will take this offer and the rest will still be here complaining because of Balmung and their culture of entitlement.

If you're gonna sit here and try to roast a whole server and call them snowflakes or whatever, at least do a tiny little bit of research about what SE has done to alleviate the problem and what the results were?

Whether it was #1 on SE's promotional hit parade or not, it was there and supposed to be available for everyone when they have met the requirements. Housing is baited and encouraged by retainers bringing back items, lots of crafting recipes, every outside of raid reward event items and even some inside ones, beast tribes and the list goes on. SE created and enabled the system to provide the constant danging scent of fresh housing carrots in front of our noses and the bait was taken. Now, let them fix that system.

Because when all these whiners speak about "dreams" they are highly exaggerated and hyperbolic. If I want something that bad I go get it, I don't complain about something that will not change. If it is that important they will move, that simple. SE can't be expected to cater to one or two servers when the vast majority now have wards that are ghost towns.

Because I have a house. My dream plot. On Balmung. And it's made it very clear to me how unfair this system is in general.

People did research, and they have every good reason to laugh at Balmung folks and people who transferred there for 4.2 when gate reopened allowing people to create/transfer back there.

Choosing to go back and demanding a plot/ward in a most congested and overpopulated server is called "snowflakes or whatever" as you call it.

Who here transferred back to Balmung and is demanding a plot? The person I was responding to claimed that if SE offered free transfers off of Balmung, very few people would take it because of Balmung's "culture of entitlement." This isn't true. We know it's not true because a lot of people left when the transfers off were free.

No one here is roasting entire Balmung server, but we are definitely roasting those self-center and entitled Balmung lobbyists. There are three choices for over-populated Balmung that want a house:

1. Transfer, Transfer, and Transfer (This is very important, so i have to say it 3 times.)
2. Stay on Balmung for role-playing.
3. S/E uses Odin slash to slash Balmung into two (in which, S/E has done few times back in FF11).

lol, technically, the concept of Odin Slash is "cut everything in half".
I am not joking tho, FF11 devs had issue with Odin server being too big and all means to control its population has failed.
They used "enforced migration" at the end if i remember it correctly since technically, we do not own our character, they do.
