All (most) of them, but i will take WoW as i played that game for 12 years - enough to mention Black Qiraji mount or to say a mount what would put the owner among gods. With housing you always have a chance regardless how small it is, with that mount you had only one chance and once is over your desire to get that item - dies. But there are so many other things with more than clear message "you will never again have the opportunity to get it" that i will need several post just to list them all.
Oh almost forgot, at the time when this items were available to obtain there was only few players (literally few) who manage to actually get them. Speaking of "artificial scarcity"... But do you know what was always abundant - snowflakes like you.

All of them? RNG is a way of creating artificial scarcity as drop rates are adjusted. Some items may be given a 10% drop rate because the game devs don't want the item to be that scarce. Other items are given a drop rate of 0.01% because they are intended to be very scarce.
Housing is not scarce on Coeurl right now. You want a house? Come and get it. Available smalls are all over the place. Some mediums are still available. Larges are gone but there's always a chance you find one that's been relinquished (happened twice last week that I noticed). We've got the same supply of houses as any other world so it's not a matter of artificial scarcity at work.
None that I ever played. This was a first after playing numerous MMOs. "Oh, you can't get one because there are none left within gameplay." lmao. The poster above described Balmung people clicking for hours trying to get a plot off timer makes me ill. No excuse for that BS in an MMO. This game is marketed as having housing as part of the available experience. If it's not available, it's fraud.

I had two FC mates go through that exact process. One was able to get a house. The other gave up after a few hours and hasn't actually logged in since thenNone that I ever played. I find the Scarab Lord title from WoW to not be equivalent. Scarab Lord and the Black Qiraji mount are just vanity pieces. Housing in this game is actual content. Nothing prevents me at any point from trying to get the achievements from raiding or PVP. It's always available for me to try. But there are a lot of people that have the gil for a house, there just simply isn't one for them to buy.

Agreed and absolutely housing is content. In fact, Little Ladies Day is March 1 with yet another "housing" deco as a reward. No house?, tough poop, you are sol. I don't think so...You know, when I was working to get all the ponies for my "Tamer of Steeds" title if at the end the game told me I could not acquire Kirin because there were none left right now and I would have to click an object for hours and maybe I would get him and maybe not, I would of been out of game and on to another asap. Both contents are equally important to some players, I am one of them and I don't like fraudulent claims.I had two FC mates go through that exact process. One was able to get a house. "Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
They're hundreds of houses available. They're probably more worlds with housing available than those without. People are choosing to give up one thing in the game to keep playing on their current server. But if they wanted to have a house on their account today they could have one.None that I ever played. Changing servers, while logical, isn't quite as simple as you make it sound. Some people have put down roots, such as making friends and joining a good FC or static. Unless they're on a high pop server, chances are they'll luck into a house eventually if they keep an eye out. If not...hopefully more wards will keep being added fairly regularly. They're hundreds of houses available. They're probably more worlds with housing available than those without. As to the topic, I do consider this patch to be more successful than most, seeing as there's still houses available.

I was really referring to the whole, it's fraud because it isn't available. It is available.Changing servers, while logical, isn't quite as simple as you make it sound.
