Plz do something about the multiplot owners

I am of the opinion that multi-plot owners broke the spirit of the housing system, even if they didn't break any actual rules. So, it really doesn't sit well with me that future players aren't allowed to own multiple plots while older, legacy players can.

Rather than "punishment", though, perhaps what's needed is an amnesty instead. Incentivise multi-plot owners to give up their extra plots. For example, offer a 100% refund on the maximum value of the plot, or maybe even higher than 100%, to help reccover the cost of furnishing.

This should be entirely optional for multi-plot owners. This way, everyone potentially wins.

Can blame people who take the time to make gill and buy plots. SE looks at it from a legal point of view and needs to keep it seal and be fair to its supporters. The good news is if they don't pay, house gets demolish they won't be able to buy multiple anymore. Hence their grandfather plan. Is it fair for us who took the time to have multiple plots? Yes it is. Is it fair to give people a trophy to people just for trying? No but apparently society does not want to make them feel bad. As for your suggestion, you misunderstand the whole point of why people have multi plots, to flip and have it strictly for FC members to have a ward or make more gill than suggested market price. 100% refund is not even close to what people can make flipping it.

I have a private house and my alt also has a private house. If they would allow estate sharing with your alts - I would relinquish one of the houses. I believe a lot of people would do the same.

I'm still surprised they haven't done this. Shouldn't be too hard to make a private house function across the account, though I'd understand if they can't do that because it'd allow low level characters into Kugane super early.

Their is a reason why it's call an alternate and I'm surprise people still don't understand that. Doing house sharing would be as if you only have one choco for both, one content bag, ect. Hence alternate is considered a complete different entity. Besides not sharing housing has many benefits to it. Multiple FC's benefits for example, double airships, double gardens, double subs now.

I doubt its because it would allow low level characters in Kugane - my level 19 alt-gladiator can teleport to our FC-mansion in Shirogane and hes hardly got access to Gridania by now. he just cant leave the housing district and go to Kugane yet, so thats not an issue.

From a technical point of view, a house is something very, very different than your inventory or your chocobo... The sharing of your inventory or a mount (except the two-seater mounts, in a way...) isnt possible. The sharing of a house however is - the game also obviously registers that one of your characters owns a house. So why not have it register "Ah, this is the house - here, have access!"
I know, I know - from your RP-view two characters are two completly different things. And for the most part they're also two different things when it comes to the technical side, granted. But now one character owning a house is already affecting all the alt-characters. If its only one house per account, then make it per account.

IMO, the lynchmob who feel entitled. Nobody was stopped to move to the server and buy houses. It was fair and square.

As for your suggestion, you misunderstand the whole point of why people have multi plots, to flip...

And now they can't. At least, not as easily. So, offering a full refund allows those who bought multiple plots with the intention to flip (which would be an egregious act against the ToS, by the way) to at least recoup their cost. It's a very generous offer, considering that house-flippers were profiteers, in my opinion, and should have never have been allowed to get away with their unethical conduct in the first place.

And you'd deign to criticse others for feeling entitled to having a fair shot at a plot of their own? Why should an FC's desire to corner a ward for their own members outweigh the right of other players to get a home?
