Plz do something about the multiplot owners

If SE wants everything to be fair and transparent then the only solution is to expropriate all the private housing and FC states from players whom have more than one of each under the same world and service account, such players get to choose which ones they want to keep naturally!...

In order to compensate for the new restrictions SE must allow all characters under the same world and service account to automatically be able to share the private property and to have the same rights as the original owner!...

How do you handle refunding the players cash shop items? Your talking real money there and not everyone would have the ability to save every Mog Station item. All for doing something SE expected players to do and that was buy more than one house if that had more than one character. I do think some would give up their extra houses if alts were allowed to share a house but SE doesn't seem to care.

I imagine if they did appropriate housing from people who already own multiple ones it would stir up the pot pretty good. However, how many people is that really? Businesses usually focus on pleasing the most customers so as to make the most money. I imagine if they're is more to be gained from pleasing the masses than pleasing the few who cling desperately to multiple houses they may do something if people complain enough. So there is a chance but a lot of people would have to be really loud and obnoxious. Alternatively, you could just leave them alone and fix the actually problem and make new wards generate automatically as the housing fills up in the previous wards. I think LoTR Online does this no? That way everyone gets a damn house and everyone can finally stop complaining about the housing shortage lol...

Btw. 700k are not realy mutch, i make that in less than a week without even focusing on money just by doing normal stuff (like dailys, dungeon and selling retainer quick mission items).

It's a good idea but it wouldn't work. PPL who buy multiple houses have a LOT of gil. I make 10m a day. A fine that low wouldn't bother me and I don't make nearly as much as others on my server. I know several that are gil capped. The kind of person who buys multiple plots will have a shitton of gil to spend and nothing to spend it on. =/

EVEN the people that own the full ward in Mateus. Reading their blogs and posts on the matter is heart wrenching.

How will we be compensated if they take our houses. Gil? I don't want gil. There is no way they can know how much gil the houses are worth to people. The HOURS of work put into decorating. The gil that we put into items that we had to get rid of or items we can't get back that we replaced (The special furnishings from seasonal events like wall papers and ceiling lamps.) and as someone put above, items bought from the mog station.

I am fine with not being able to buy more on my home server. I have all the space I need.

But I am really worrying about these one-sided demonizing arguments when like I said, SE has the burden of figuring out how to get everyone housing, not us, your fellow players!

But there is common decency and common courtesy to your fellow players.

I don't have any love for the people couple who own that ward on Mateus, I'm saving up for a house anyway and whatever. But owning a ward? I can see one or 3 houses but 30??!! At some point you just have to go the fuck? I don't care who you are or your "work" 30 is a bit much for 2 people. :/

Sure, there was no technical limitation in place. Yes, it's not technically against the rules of the time.

But there is common decency and common courtesy to your fellow players.

Those things have been long gone, since well before the old BBS’s came around.

Common decency and common courtesy would be the people owning multiple plots to voluntarily relinquish all but one. That ain’t gonna happen, and that’s why people are after SE to force them out, to force open the ability to buy those plots.

On the other hand, common courtesy and common decency would to NOT BE JEALOUS of those who have multiple plots, and to NOT try to convince SE to force them to give most of their lands up.

Common courtesy, common decency .. are being shown by neither side in this argument.

I'm fine with it either way tbh. Those players being grandfathered in means no breaks from this game longer than about a month, regardless what happens in their lives or they lose all those houses, and that isn't always an easy requirement to meet. Many of them will eventually come available. Of course, if the system was redesigned to force them to select the one fc and one personal house they preferred upon login, I would not be complaining.
