My New Neighbors

I'm not looking to argue, I just put my 2 cents in, I've seen even people in basically solo free companys decorate, this fc house with 0/3 online at all times has been up since the ward came up, even before I got my large. I understand when its a week or so but almost a full month and there's nothing going on, I see no point in making excuses for people. If the game is really so unimportant that they want to buy a house and -not- play or use it then why buy it, when there are people who will actually use it trying hard to get even a small.

New wards were available Feb 6. Today is Feb 21. That's 2 weeks and 1 day. Hardly "almost a full month".

Also, the nonsense of this entire thread is why when I move/ buy a house I keep it locked until I'm done decorating it. I'll throw up an aether shard and some random stuff in the yard, usually coming back to actually decorate the yard within a week or two so that people will think my house is used and won't throw hissy fits. You have no idea what's going on in peoples' lives or even their game play. Give them a break. Best case scenerio, they'll decorate eventually. Worst case scenerio, it's someone who uses the house only for workshop stuff, you'll never see them, and you'll have a boring looking neighbor. Either way, it doesn't hurt you, so why throw a fit about it on the forums?

Once again, their house is RIGHT infront of mine, its a complete eyesore. If you want to defend them then fine, but tbh its not your house they're set up in front of, nor your rp that forces you to have to look at an eyesore of a yard everyday. And def not your fc and friends complaining about it as well as a large portion of your ward. I did note earlier I would be fine if they even just set something up, or even moved the 2 things in the yard to note "Hey, I heard a lot of people were upset that it looked like I might scalp some poor person trying to relocate to this plot."

Then people got mad and then there were white knights and then I realized Windows takes untrue screenshots, so i tried to bring some humor back and seems the storm is simmering. And here we are

Being the owner of the large next to you, it does look a bit fishy... And I play a large amount of hours a day and have yet to see anyone in or even near the house other than to look at the "House flippers."
If you planned on using it then use it, but for it to just sit and be unused with the items that auto switch over when it's relocated in the exact same position, don't be shocked when people get upset, it's like a slap in the face to the people actually fighting just for a home not the perfect plot.

In this case though the person in question has explained that they do plan to get to it - "House flipping" occured only between their own characters (for whatever reason - case and point: they didnt do it to get money out of it but to probably own the plot on the character they wanted it on in the end). It has been cleared up that the owner of the house in question doesnt seem to have any fishy motive - to continue attacks at this point is rude and petty and depending on their nature probably worth a report (thats not so much directed towards you, Sunske, but rather the OP... who seems to turn this into a little witchhunt, even though the witch has been revealed just being a lady with a cat and a broom).

While I much understand the sentiment of being upset about people not doing all the neat stuff you would imagine for those houses with them, they are by no means obligated to do anything there. And by no means does that open them up for any kind of abuse, naming&shaming or being called out - they might enjoy housing in a different way than you do. For an FC, maybe its just the workshop and private chambers for those who want to decorate. A private home might only be used for the garden, because crossbreeding is something the owner enjoys, while decorating... not so much.
In a later post you mention that you kinda expect someone to put up their decoration within a month... honestly, seeing how house buying is a lot "now or never", someone might only be able to grab a plot but doesnt has the time for a while to decorate. For example: Normally I have exams during this time of the year, for about 4-6 weeks, I dont have to much time playing the game because I need to study. I left my private FC-chamber empty for 3 months, because I had no idea what I wanted to do with it - I knew I wanted something in there, just not what.
There are legit reasons someone is holding off on decoration. You dont have to like that.
But calling them out in the way the OP is doing here... seems unwarranted

I fully understand, and like I said I'm not really here to argue, I'm just throwing out what I've seen.
I will point out to you that simply because someone says they wont or aren't doing something doesn't mean it's the truth. But even so I do know stuff happens, this has been a whole debate in my fc for some time tbh. I just found it funny to see it as I was just scrolling through the fourms like "I KNOW THAT STABLE, THAT'S MY NEIGHBOR!"
I personally however don't really see how difficult it is/would be to take 2 minutes to simple move them so its not a stacked eyesore, that looks almost fishy. Especially after multiple people making comments about it. If rl issues stop you from playing the game almost completely why even invest in a house?

They do not need to please you with their house. At all. Seriously, if mutliple people would make comments about how they didnt liked what I did with my house/my garden I would turn it into the worst thing possible right away, just to piss them off.

They're not investing in the house to please you - or anyone else in the ward. You dont need to like that, but you do need to respect that its their house and their choice... publicly calling it an "eyesore" isnt really respecting that.

First off I haven't said that person's name and I removed the screenshot with their info on it last night. I'm not on a witch hunt (i don't know why people keep using this word)
Secondly people lie and tell half trues
And lastly I can't stop people from chiming in and talking about the subject. They have a right to comment on it just as you did.
