This is a disingenuous because you're inherently assuming both the "meta" job players and the "non-meta" aren't of equal skill. A fair comparison means we must assume the jobs are being played by equally skilled players. In that scenario, Dragoon, for instance, far exceeds Samurai's value because Litany and Disembowel are that beneficial for physical ranged jobs, especially Bard. Although Black Mage is in a far better spot now than it has previously, it's debatable whether the DPS equates to enough where it offsets Summoner's comparably high damage and utility. We'll have to see as parses begin to even out.

Yeha this is important. You can't win with a bad BLM, but you might win with a bad MCH because Hypercharge is really strong, all he has to do is press that button.
