Can we please have the option to switch personal homes into FC homes??

It's open to abusing the system.

If I own a large personal house that an FC is interested in. I could sell the plot to them by them letting me in their FC and then giving me house permissions to do the upgrade, then leaving the FC.

I was intending to only let the FC leader do it with their own personal house. But allowing any member to do it... I don't think this is really an issue, either. I hardly think people making an offer on a house they like when they are willing to pay is the problem. Someone offered my friend 100mil for his large house. He said no but if he had said yes is it really such a huge problem (100mil isn't too far off from the 45mil price tag, considering 45mil of that is a refund of what he paid and the rest is just an offer)? The real problem is people who buy a plot with the intention to sell it for an exorbitant price, purposely taking a home only to flip it for cash.

Although it's true that someone could potentially buy a personal house with the intention of selling it to an FC for cash, someone could also just make an FC with 4+ people in it and buy a house, then sell the FC with the house. I'm sure there is no shortage of people who would give up a ton of gil/cash for a house on certain servers, even if it means telling all of their members to transfer to the new FC.
