^^^^^^^^^^Thank you. You are exactly right. There have also been people stepping forward saying that the only reason they play a female character in this game is due to feeling like male characters are simply neglected by comparison.
Of course, whenever anybody does bring up the disparity between the male and female outfits there's never a lack of someone else swooping in to downplay any concerns, legitimate though they may be. Funny how that works - especially since those selfsame individuals are always playing female characters themselves.
Not to be rude, but a fantasy game where there are cat people, lizard people, and giant birds that are used for transportation seems like a silly place for you to have conservative views.

I'd hate to be in a duty with you tbh. I'd rather not do a dungeon that takes an hour because the tank is pulling 1 enemy at a time. Nope. I would leave, and happily take the 30min penalty.A good tank should minimise the danger and risk as far as possible. Each pull should therefore be as small as possible to make it as easy as possible.
If this makes a run boring because it becomes so easy - then people are doing things right. During a really good run one should never be in any real danger.
In a few places it is almost necessary to make small pulls, and it is therefore a good habit to get into.
Large pulls are just sloppy tanking that only works because parties usually outgear content significantly.
One could also say that large pulls being common is a sign of bad encounter design.

Males don't need anything, but that's not the point.
The bunny outfit was the first glamour released that had no male equivalent that caused everyone to notice how we were only a few patches in and already female avatars were getting more vanity options than males. Something that's gotten so progressively worse that we have, as Theodric stated, players choosing female avatars just for some clothing variety.
This all stems from how many outfits made for guys end up unisex, while the opposite never occurs, while females still get uniques. The Sailor set, Best Men's set, and Gambler set were all supposed to be male locked.
The bunny outfit also keeps repeatedly coming up as SE, years ago, stated they were working on a male friendly redesign, and then radio silence.

The bunny thing is probably more because the people who want it don't really want a bunny costume for men, they want the female costume exactly as it is for men, fishnets and all. Anime has no shortage of bunny guys...look at the various Alice shoujo mangas to see one for example, but they tend to be conservatively dressed. I'm not sure they'd go full bunny; that's a lot more like asking them to make thongs or camisoles for female characters.
Give males a (teddy) Bear outfit.
Teddy bear > bunny.
Incorrect. A good tank will properly utilize cooldowns and pull as much as they can safely handle without wiping the group. What you're suggesting is borderline insane, so much so that i honestly thought your response was satire. As someone that regularly plays healers and has a max level scholar, please never tank like what this poster is suggesting. Unless of course, your primary goal is to put your healer to sleep.
That highlight tho, please teach me your ways.

I share all of these opinions. O:Healers that aren't dpsing in their down time are playing sub-par and it is a perfectly valid reason to kick.
I don't hate Alphinaud.
Mentors aren't all bad or even mostly bad.
The biggest problem facing this game is the chasm separating the hypercasuals from everyone else.
