Male outfit. I think I don't have such problem with the female version because 1) it got released so long ago that many girls already don't use it, 2) I don't tend to look in game to female chars, 3) those kind of costumes are like... "made to be for females". They look good on girls, they look acceptable on girls. In guys just don't.

There's no real reason a bunny outfit works on girls but not guys. Heard of Chippendales? You can easily give males an outfit like this. I mean if a male WoL shouldn't look that way, why should a female one? Most female avatars tend to look like budget strippers the way they're dressed. Clearly little more than an expression of the fantasies of their player.

Big pulls are a sign of bad tanking.

This is not a unpopular opinion, It's just straight up false. I'm actually more curious why you think that big pulls alone are a sign of a bad tank then, let's say...a tank that doesn't know how to rotate cooldowns or use them period. I'm legit curious to see what your response is.

Maybe I'm too old school, but the idea of having a male bunny outfit or whatever skimpy kind of glamour makes me sick.

It sounds to me, that this is of a more personal morality issue and less of a age issue, but I wouldn't touch that area of topic with a 50 foot pole. How old you are has no relevance to wanting to see or even dress up in revealing or pretty outfits. To each their own, I suppose.

I was raised in a christian family and even if I'm not that attached to it, it bothers me the fact of this being wanted as a "need to be implemented". Hmmm, how about turning off health bars on Bosses once they are under 10% for Extreme content?

Why? Because there are far too many parties where the DPSers brains turn to mush once they see that -4% health bar and they get themselves cleaved/blownup/failmechanics when they had previously been perfect the whole run!

Huh? Wow. Nice to know that males dressing up as bunnies make people feel sick XD... I mean idgaf. But I went as a bunny IRL for Halloween last October and I don't see it as "skimpy" or see it in a "fantasy" way.





It's fun to dress up! I'd especially love it more in-game. Why do females get all the dress-up clothes? I WANT TO BE A BUNNY! AND I WANT TO BE A BUNNY NOW! Or give us Alphinaud height for Elezen. Pls and ty! I would be just as happy with that. Q.Q

Or we could just wait for the Viera race in v5.0/v6.0 (hopefully)

My point is it is simply a grain of sand falling upon an already existing pile of detritus. There's ways to implement it, though, that avoid making it overly feminine, e.g. the aforementioned Chippendale outfit.

Agreed, it's the ideal form of tanking.

...How so?

A good tank should minimise the danger and risk as far as possible. Each pull should therefore be as small as possible to make it as easy as possible.
If this makes a run boring because it becomes so easy - then people are doing things right. During a really good run one should never be in any real danger.

In a few places it is almost necessary to make small pulls, and it is therefore a good habit to get into.
Large pulls are just sloppy tanking that only works because parties usually outgear content significantly.

One could also say that large pulls being common is a sign of bad encounter design.
