The Heavensward were a tragedy, but one Ishgard should have seen coming. Bloodlines are one thing, but you don't see your leader suddenly hiring a bunch of dudes known mostly for "ability to murder without caring about people at all" JUST AFTER the death of the previous Archimandrite without raising an eyebrow or two.

Zephirin deserved better. (And while I miss Haurche, he should absolutely stay dead.)

Gameplay unpopular opinion: Just make tank damage scale with vit and admit you can't balance STR on tanks. My wallet can't take another tier of pentamelded BiS right side, thanks.

Early game dungeons are better

Here me out, totorak still sucks, but the early game dungeons felt like real dungeons! Late game dungeons are linear and goes as follows

Tanks drags mobs, party kills mobs, Boss rinse and repeat

The early game dungeons had exploration options and but its only fault being boring boss fights

So why can't we have late game boss fights with the early dungeons design ethos?

I've got nothing against the XIV Reddit personally, but they've shown quite an uncalled for hostility toward me and the content I've made and shared. Not entirely, some do like it, and I've attracted more and more of a following with each work, but their going out of their way to ensure there are 2 dislikes to 1 like on my work (not even exaggerating, it's usually 2:1) is a bit juvenile.

The FFXIV Reddit is absolutely awful. I had people pretend to be me there about a month ago in an effort to stir up drama.

A lot of the more aggressive posters over there are individuals who have been banned from posting on this site, though. So I guess it makes sense. At any rate, any site that relies on an upvote/downvote system is flawed from the very start as it inevitably gets abused and encourages 'group think' rather than feedback or constructive debate.

Keep up the good work, though. The PvP community needs vocal, passionate people like you.

People who complain about housing being "inaccessible" need to toughen up and play to win like everyone else instead of incessantly demanding the devs change things any time they encounter a hurdle in the game and can't be bothered putting in the time and effort to jump it themselves.

I may get flak for this but I've gotta second this one, I've owned a few different houses now during my time playing FFXIV (only one at a time, though, to clarify) and yes, I took the day off work on the release of 4.1 as well as this last Tuesday when 4.2 houses released in order to secure a large house for the FC and relocate my personal small. I put in the time, and I was rewarded.

Concerning FFXIV Reddit - I hate, hate, hate the amount of "I drew a picture of my character," threads. I'm all about art usually (big into comics) but those threads just reek of attention seeking desperation.
