Canceling Account

After 810 days as a subscriber I'm canceling my account. My waiting and patience has reached an end for trying to get a house in this game.

My last attempt in working with Square was an offer to transfer to any server from Balmung for my spouse and myself, for any house. A simple fix, but the request was ignored.

And finally after seeing the results of the recent patch, I have no desire to give anything more to this game.

This company will not get one more cent from me.

You could have moved to a preferred server, formed a FC with your wife and two others, and then bought a house there.

Are the free transfers to underpopulated servers still going? It had been for atleast a month when SB came out, plenty of time to change servers just for housing. Here on Zalera a friend transfered to one of the new Goblet plots. When they logged off to go to sleep they still were the ONLY house in that ward. The only place that was filling up was Shirogane and even then there were plenty of smalls and mediums.

Um.... crazy opinion here, but... there are more things this game has to offer than housing???? I mean, I can see this as frustrating, yes, but in the grand scheme of things, not getting a house seems like a silly reason to stop playing after you've been playing for so long.

..There's a lot of smalls on Balmung. In almost every ward in every location. I'm afraid I don't understand.

It's locked behind the incompetence of SE, almost 800 days myself and would rather play MH World than give SE more money to insult me.

....wait. Were you seriously telling SE “I will transfer off of Balmung if you give me a house”? Because that’s...not how housing works in this game.

Cactuar still, twenty five hours later, has seventy two mediums available. If you can form a FC with three alts and purchase basically anything. In fact, when I logged in this morning, I literally had Ward 17 all to myself. Those with a FC who didn't get a house simply weren't trying this time. No excuses. Now if you're waiting on a personal, the restrictions will be lifted soon enough.
