Um.... crazy opinion here, but... there are more things this game has to offer than housing???? I mean, I can see this as frustrating, yes, but in the grand scheme of things, not getting a house seems like a silly reason to stop playing after you've been playing for so long.

My last attempt in working with Square was an offer to transfer to any server from Balmung for my spouse and myself, for any house. A simple fix, but the request was ignored.

....wait. Were you seriously telling SE “I will transfer off of Balmung if you give me a house”? Because that’s...not how housing works in this game.

Cactuar still, twenty five hours later, has seventy two mediums available. If you can form a FC with three alts and purchase basically anything. In fact, when I logged in this morning, I literally had Ward 17 all to myself. Those with a FC who didn't get a house simply weren't trying this time. No excuses. Now if you're waiting on a personal, the restrictions will be lifted soon enough.

It may not be your dream Large, but once you’re in the housing system, you’ll be able to take advantage of relocation in the future—be it moving to the next new housing district or upgrading to that medium or large that happened to open up in a Ward; the random timer isn’t something that’s going to go away, but relocation immediately bypasses that timer, unless they change it in the future. You claim you want a house so badly, but apparently not badly enough to ignore the smalls and mediums floating around. My first house was a small, and I was just happy to own one.

On Louisoix we have lot of mediums and larges even in some zones, after over 24 hours.
