So even if someone already bought/relocated to a plot, the lag can show it as being unpurchased?

I guess the dream was dead to begin with, though I'm glad it at least went to a FC.

Anecdotal, but I got in before the queue applied to my server. When I relocated, at least on my screen, the plot icon changed to show that it had been purchased. However, and I'm not exaggerating, it took a full 5 minutes before the new house appeared (and presumably for the old to disappear, though I wasn't there).

For a second relocation, which was at 6:12, the house appeared immediately.

No I will not downgrade housing cause you can't get something right. How about RESERVATIONS. Allow active FC's to reserve space for a fee (% of the value of the property). If they buy the land within say 2-3 days the fee is applied to the cost otherwise the land is released for immediate purchase at full price and the fee is forfeit.

But there are still larges on my server, many larges on my server. Most of the larges that were purchased went to FC's, that is what was intended.

Lucky for your sever then. Mine the only plots left are small I believe. Think of it like this. If you were a FC or a player who already own a small or medium house then chances are when you relocate you are going to take advantage of the relocation compensation correct? So... there is a very high probability that those in a small will upgrade to at least medium and medium to large. With that assumption in mind that would mean the only small houses being bought would be new FC since the restrictions forbid single player buying currently. Now... each ward has 2 divisions but we will just focus on 1 for now.

Small plots make up 66.66% of a single division medium is 23.33% and large is 10%. So by those percentages if half of the small plot CURRENT owners from a single division from a single residential zone wanted to relocate to Shirogane that alone fills the medium and large percentage wise. There are THREE residential zones filled with players who have been going nuts trying to get a plot in Shirogane. This means that out of the 2,160 small plots already occupied by the other 3 zones that only 360 will make it into a medium or large plot in Shirogane. That's a whopping 16.66% of the current home owner population (5% to large housing and 11.66% to medium).

SO... all this is doing is creating a massive gaping hole worth of slum houses.

Happy for what? Maybe he add more houses but we can't buy this, point is if Yoshida say on live letter "You have 4h to relocate/buy house for FC" it would be simple..

Shouldn't have to add more in the first place. The system in general is severely flawed. Housing, in most MMOs, are instanced. Yes I know... then what would they do with all that beautiful scenery they designed? Well... they could save that effort and server space for more instances that are actually usable.

Maybe i got something wrong in the patchnotes, but even with all the small/medium plots free on the empty servers no one except a FC can buy them right now right? And an FC needs now atleast 4 members to buy a plot. So even if you thinking about opening a own FC just to be able to buy a house this will not work until you recruits some members. I wonder how it works for people that invite somebody just to reach the number and kick them again once they bought the plot.

What are you talking about? FCs with and without houses have exactly the same chances on getting any size plot. Yes people relocated, but that doesn't change the amount of houses available. Your assumptions are off base and have no bearing in what is actually going on. FC's have the same chance as everyone else (relocaters/FC) on whatever plot they want. Not everyone wants a large house, I didn't relocate my personal house and many others didn't too. Your first complaint was that your FC (which already has a large plot) didn't get the Shiro plot you wanted and now you have gone into a direction accusing anyone who doesn't have a large shiro house is living in a slum..? Just go on a walk you aren't making sense. The actual issue with housing is the limited quantity, now there are more houses and FCs for most servers will be able to have access to FC housing specific content. This is a great step forward, don't confuse the problem with housing and entitlement. Everyone had equal chances (FCs) to get the house they wanted, if you didn't get the one you wanted that sucks but not the end of the world.
