Yet another terrible experience with housing launch. 171 in queue a mere second after servers came up. Got in no problem. Went to the place I picked out ahead of time only to find someone already grabbed it. Wait. what? Out of 171 people this person chose the EXACT same one and was already there? Did they have a direct fiber connection to your servers or something?! Go back to skipper ALL LARGE HOUSES GONE.

No I will not downgrade housing cause you can't get something right. How about RESERVATIONS. Allow active FC's to reserve space for a fee (% of the value of the property). If they buy the land within say 2-3 days the fee is applied to the cost otherwise the land is released for immediate purchase at full price and the fee is forfeit.

Just a thought but hey what the heck do I know. I've only played about 50 MMOs in the past 16 years. And The whole community neighborhood thing? That has GOT TO GO. First off it's completely negated by allowing players to directly port in to their homes. While this is convenient for the home owners and FC members this takes away from the exploration factor of the rest of the ward. Personally I don't ever visit someones house and only see their outside by passing it on the way to the market board! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER GODS YOU WORSHIP... INSTANCED HOUSING!

At least you didn't get some dumb error that prevented you from buying a large house you reached before everyone else like I did.

If it was the housing restriction thing... it wasn't a bug. Someone bought it and the house was mid-transfer.

Yeah when I relocated my house it took almost a full minute to activate. Many people came and tried to buy the plot and I was trying to steer them away (doubt they believed me). I felt so bad for them

That's what happened to me. I saw the player running away from the plot but when I saw I had options to relocate I figured they were on the way to another plot. Waited there trying to get my spot only to see another house magically appear there. So upsetting...

I thought SE mentioned that they wouldn't unlock wards until an hour or so later, not as soon as the servers came back up? Sad for the people who wanted to upgrade their large FC to a bigger plot. I saw the majority of larges gone in 5 minutes after servers came back up and many into private hands yet again. SE housing system is the worst. haha

That was an unofficial translation that some have said to be a mistranslation at that. No official sources mentioned a one hour delay before houses would be available for purchase/relocation.

I could be wrong. Yoshi P gave many interviews regarding the new wards. No matter, the housing in the game is with worst and set up poorly. That's a known fact. haha. They should put new housing wards on timers to become unlocked at random. just like they are going to do with relinquishing and demolishing. No one knows the hour. They would have to just sit at the athernet shards to watch and wait ,maybe even all day. lol. That. would be the worst of it that way. That would be better than the stampede stuff and queue jams would not be like this. But...it is what it is, I guess.

My server still has over 20 larges open and most larges are FC now. So I think it is working as intended, there are also literally hundreds of smalls and dozens of mediums. At least on my server people are going to have a stab at personal houses.
