Oh yes, I should be content with fitting 3+ people in a small house because we refuse to leave our FC to enjoy the game. Makes TOTAL sense -_-
Because the Free Companies need it. You simply want it.
Having access to mechanics that are important for basic functions of a free company > your desire to decorate a house.
Housing is a secondary point. Housing wasn't even released in 1.0.
What they're referring to is the actual game history. 1.0 was bad. 1.0 was effectively scrapped. You can dig around for videos about the end of 1.0. All that Calamity stuff you learned about at the beginning of the story? That was 1.0. The Calamity was the devs ending 1.0 so they could redo the game. But to get it out fast, 2.0 had to be built on the broken rubble of 1.0, which at the time worked well enough, but as years go by, they continue discovering all the limits and restrictions they accidentally built for themselves. Many of these problems simply aren't fixable without gutting everything to start over. So most of them are simple worked around with alternative solutions.

Not giving a time when individual housing openning up isn't fair.
I IR hubby and I had a house I broke both my legs and we lost it to auto demolition. Last patch was a job.
This was is just as stupid. our FC moved great. but now I stuck waiting unknown amount of time hoping to get one of the ones left over.
I really hope SE plans to solve by adding more housing wards every even patch. Till everyone can have a house they want.
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
Did you even read the post V.V
FC members don't NEED it any more than us individuals NEED our own space. If they can't use the workshops then they are missing out on a part of the game they want to enjoy, if we can't get our own space to decorate we're missing out on a part of the game WE want to enjoy. You cannot possibly justify that an FC's wants are more important than anyone elses, so many other MMOs have found a compromise and a AAA company like SE should have figured it out by now.
Did I or did I NOT say that the FC's needs are EQUAL to the individuals? All I hear from these pro FC posts is that they are more important than the individuals needs, which I have NEVER said at any point. Again, it's astonishing how people don't actually read posts before $ht posting.
See, that's totally YOUR decision though. No one is forcing you to "fit 3 people in a small house", when each of those 3 people can have a small house of their own. And even then, there's more than enough room for 3, I've seen several ingame friends do it with barely any effort.
Again, I'm not defending the housing in this game, it's bad at the best of times and will likely stay that way for the foreseeable future but crying "WOLF!" in sutations that are, at least, halfway a 'You' problem isn't the solution either.
Also laying down and saying NOTHING doesn't help the situation either. If we don't make our voices heard nothing gets done. It would straight up be wrong to not voice my opinion because the truth hurts, I can't imagine how many subs this game has lost because of stuff like this. You won't have a house to log back into if the game gets shut down due to lack of subs, then we all lose.See, that's totally YOUR decision though. Fixed it for you ^
Also since you seem to be missing the point, let me repeat where i stated the reasons why, no matter how much you complain, they cant just fix the system. Also laying down and saying NOTHING doesn't help the situation either. Tl;dr - How much we pay for the subs doesnt matter in the slightest and the team actually working on the game doesnt see any of that money. They are given a budget, and rather than spending that budget to completely rebuild the housing system (which is what it would take to make the system truly fair), they choose to use the money in the budget to bring us new content.Common sense should also dictate that sometimes 'fixing' things isnt so easy when it comes to technical stuff, especially code. Common sense should also dictate that, even though they are getting all this money from us in the form of us buying the game, and paying the subs, they dont actually see that money.
SE gets the money yes, but the actual team that are developing this game don't see it. They are given a budget by SE, they are told "This is exactly how much money you are allowed to spend on this game" and have to stay within that budget when alloting dev time and resources. Some things are simply too much of an undertaking for them to do without making the game suffer in other areas. A complete revamp like the housing system would require (or for the spaghetti code to be rewritten) would be something that would have to be adjusted between expansions, and even then it would take away from other content they would be able to bring us in the expansion. x amount of money spent paying the dev time for working on the housing revamp that could have been spent on them developing new content.
It's a tradeoff.
