SE: Can we get back skip cutscene in Main Scenarios?

Only if ALL people are NOT new. Most of my Main Scenario roulette runs do not have a single person. Ironically enough, we kind of enjoyed some chat during the cutscenes.

But if a person is new, might as well not deprive them of the experience, if for those several moments. We can do some chatting, reviewing of patches, story talks, discords, FC chats, etc during the cutscenes.

Castrum Meridianum isn't a problem in terms of time spent. It's still less than 30 minutes on average with a good group (faster than the most of my average Skalla runs.) Praetorium can be too long for repeated plays though.

Ran the MSQ Roulette while leveling my SCH to see what the change was about. Took forever and only got 1.2 million XP for my trouble(no noticeable change in xp gain). Won't be doing it again as it takes too long and doesn't give enough xp gain to make up for the time spent. A couple extra poetics as a reward is not an attractive incentive. I feel pretty bad for the newbies. Queue times are going to be terrible. They should consider upping the XP reward by a lot. If I was getting a level or two off it I would consider doing it while leveling alt classes.

Completely incorrect. Whenever I've ran the Main Scenario Roulette I specifically *ask* if anyone wants to watch the cutscenes &, if they do, I stay back with them so they can.

I was stating that if you feel the utter need to rush through the content, which you can't anymore, you can simply avoid doing it.

I'm fine with it in the roulette, but I wish they'd remove the auto-advance in solo/unsync and the inn. I was crushed to see the dialogue choice when Gaius is talking to you was removed.

I also noticed that. I guess they decided it couldn’t work with the auto-scroll but it’s sad to see that moment go. (Even if giving the ‘wrong’ answer meant that Gaius basically ignored it and went off on his rant as if you’d given the intended one anyway!)

You have a point but if EVERYONE thought with this mentality, how would the queues look like?

But not everyone has that mentality. You can *choose* whether to run the content or not, that's exactly how the game is designed. If you are the kind of person who doesn't mind helping people out (with the added bonus of tomes) then you can *choose* to run the MSQ Roulette. If everyone genuinely found it that utterly unbearable then it would quickly show. The fact is many people, like myself, are quite happy to help others out.

What you do in roulette is irrelevant. Follow your logic to the extreme: the more people avoiding msqr because of cutscenes, the longer msqr's queue takes for people genuinely needing to get in. Unlike cutscenes which could be watched elsewhere or eveb during the duty, people are forced to endure these queues, and it is a hard progression stone wall. That's why I said what I did in response to your comment.

No we cant.You reap what you sow.It's mostly the people complaining about the change that caused this.You were told multiple times to stop trying to turn players first time experience into a speed run for your own personal gain.SE was forced to make these changes because the community didnt want to care about the new players.
Stop spamming the forums making these stupid threads about it.As long as the new players arent complaining about queue times SE will have no reason to give in to the speed runners.

The Drowned City of Skalla? the last dungeon in last patch of expert? You should speak up or start kicking people that slack off to that extent. I know someone that kicked someone on 2 different occasions did so there because they did not have at least af (i290) iin low level slots after seeing trash rotations on top of trash gear (one did not even have the level 70 ability foul) It is called expert for a reason, not having at least lv 70 gear that is givin to you when you complete your lv 70 job quest does not need to be there.

yup, you can say "new players" and the community in general shot themselves in the foot because people can't communicate so SE went to baby people. So now we get longer queue times

New players really arent suffering.
The queues are fine, even with all the speed runners out.

Heck, people like me are actually running them now, since they are actually semi worth doing for the exp.
(I say semi, because its what I pick when I want to be more relaxed while wanting some exp. Where as before, the exp was just so bad, I said F this, and never joined it again.)
