I'm fine with it in the roulette, but I wish they'd remove the auto-advance in solo/unsync and the inn. I was crushed to see the dialogue choice when Gaius is talking to you was removed.

Yes!! I understand why they put in auto-advance but it isn’t needed for non-roulette or premade.
(I am also actually OK with enabling cutscene skipping for non-roulette. I also wouldn’t mind if cutscene skipping could be explicitly enabled or disabled in PF.)

You have a point but if EVERYONE thought with this mentality, how would the queues look like?Just. Don't. Do. Main. Scenario. Roulette.
I know that it's a stretch to consider it, but there's no legal or physiological obligation to do the MSQ Roulette, ever.
If it is bothering you in Mentor Roulette then, well, you are being compensated in several ways for having Mentor status, so expect to have to do some mentoring at some point.
I don't think it's fair to tell post 4.2 new players that they brought it upon themselves when they weren't the ones that complained pre 4.2.He's not saying don't do the MSQ period. He's simply pointing out that you have the option of not doing them if the cutscene change is enough to evoke "pain and rage". In all honesty, new players brought this upon themselves with their constant whinging about speed runs in the first place.
I honestly never understood the complaints. There is a Inn room?
When i was a new player i was speed runned them too. Did I complain? No I watched them in silenced while the group killed the bosses for me and i could later enjoy the bossfights through DR.
Quite true. If everyone who said they're done with these actually represented as large a player sample as they claim, this will destroy queue times for the MSQ and something will have to be changed.
Or it will continue at a decent pace for the newbies and people who wish to help or have a super laid back experience with a decent reward, and nothing will be done.
I really hope they remove the restriction from the MSQ solo and PF runs though, it doesn't really make sense.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
It is true, would take some time for them to accept it and make a change from experience tho.Quite true. If everyone who said they're done with these actually represented as large a player sample as they claim, this will destroy queue times for the MSQ and something will have to be changed.

I hope people are stoping doing this so it can change.
Since I wanted farm for gils and tomes. It's why I use it...I go tank or healerJust. Don't. Do. Main. Scenario. Roulette.

I deliberately stayed away from the MSQ roulette because I didn't want to deal with all the drama about the cutscenes. With this change, I might consider starting to run it again.
