I won't sit here and say that the two recent changes aren't decent, because they are. I feel the "usability" of drk is a fraction of a bit better than it was. But there's still a long, dark road ahead for us. Squeenix can't seem to get off WAR's dick long enough to even listen to what the drk community is saying though.

Mch has even less total parses than DRK but is part of the meta comp...So what shall those numbers tell us?

Ast has only 500 compared to sch/whm around 800/900..so ast needs buff too?

Your point is weak. TBN works really good in o7s for example, because there is a lot high single target damage other than tankbuster. Maybe some skills need to work in a different way, but we don't need every tank class capable of doing exactly the same with same potency only so that it feels more balanced to you guys.

People's problem with MCH is its play style, not its lack of usefulness or a missing identity. And while in prog people may opt to bring a caster for extra raises over MCH and its extra damage utility.

White Mage is fun to play and WHM/SCH is still a favorite for many people in progression, which most groups are doing on the first few weeks of content.

Dark Knight numbers were average in progression last tier, and fell behind once people got out of proggression, and especially fell out of use once warrior buff cycles happened. If you have been watching every warrior buff has seen less dark knights and more warriors. Dark Knight is already starting low on the totem pole in the domain people thought it would be better in which is progression, I wonder where the trend will lead.

Does use alone mean anything? Probably not, but when you pair it with all the other points that have been made about dark knight, it does perhaps suggest a large part of the community dislikes something about the job.

No, I think you're pretty on the money here. The only thing Dark has going for it is Odenta, undoubtedly the sexiest weeb weapon thus far. I need it for very serious non-glamour related purposes.

I dunno why you'd be looking at fflogs right now to compare numbers, the first week isn't even over yet. All those clears are first clears and aren't indicative of anything, wait at least a month to compare/contrast.

Same reason people used 1st clear on ultimate.

Nah its more because what you are after.

1th week raid group comps are ones that show what they can use to be sure they can clear fast. they are 1% groups that think tho usability and strengths of classes more.

3 weeks later i can quite be sure things escalate out of control even more because average raid groups pick usually comps that work best based on result of 1th week clears and "META" what is formed all so after patch by match theory crafters and 1th week clears.

why its nice to know 1th week clear comps is simple its how Esport games make balance decisions a lot based on actual Pro league results rather then your Bronze rank results to avoid players skill difference make some class look stronger or weaker then they actually are.

ofc: you need factor out ppl who pick classes out of boredom (our First Ultima clear because tank was bored of WAR and group was skilled enough to pull it off) that dont change fact at end of week Ultima clears looked like 16 PLD 14 War and 2 DRK clears what still show same result we see after this patch.

I mean it's even more solidified now as a War because you have more leeway with how you meld with DH not being as desirable because of the IR change makes their DPS and burst just that more crazy. It's funny how everyone was saying doom n gloom about the war changes when honestly it's a crazy chainsaw fel cleaving badass who can actually meld in a different way making the class much more interesting.

I'm sorry Drk i've neglected you and i'm gonna neglect you even more now till they fix you in...7.0 or something as of right now there's 0 reason to bring a Drk to Sigmascape Savage vs a Pld/War combo their kits are just too friggen amazing and Wars DPS combined with Plds amazing coverage just leaves Drk in the dust.

Drk isn't even FUN anymore, its a headache for everything you do. Anything a Drk can do a WAR and PLD can do better. BUT HEY AT LEAST THEY CAN REDUCE MAGIC DAMAGE

I don't see the problem with that when people were claiming drk was a big detriment to the group.
