That's for the need/greed system.
What he's talking about is why the weapons don't go in our individual loot pool so if we don't want the weapon, we can give it to another PT member. It's obvious they can do this to since this is exactly what the tradein item does.
No I didn't miss that part, but I didn't miss either the fact that they got a Loot system with a loot pool, but no /random, then a loot system without loot pool and then they're making a loot system with /random but no loot pool.
That's retarded and you can't blame the servers for that.

Oh, and all loot with the exception of Faction Leve rewards up until 1.19.
It worked just fine for all those items.
Well we know Yoshida is overworked, maybe he is just delusional. No I didn't miss that part, but I didn't miss either the fact that they got a Loot system with a loot pool, but no /random, than a loot system without loot pool and then they're making a loot system with /random but no loot pool.

I just hope we can use the loot list for Dark Matter too!!!!! Priorities!

i can see this conversation
yoshi "ok people like tanaka's original loot system, but let me change it anyways so it is even less like the original game."
staff "but people actually liked this part......."
yoshi "i don't care i want it changed just because i want it changed and make it really bad"
staff "how about the wow type need/greed system?"
yoshi "oh yeah se fans hate wow, but we'll wait to do that. what else could we do?"
staff "well we could make the group get multiple drops that they have to throw down on the ground while not allowing people to get the drops for their main class"
yoshi "perfect........now let's get to work while i blame this on people ninja looting items"

I see the perfect design to answer the old bad system that cannot be fixed with current crap servers and mechanics. 2.0 Just wished 2.0 client could roll out half a year earlier.Of course it is... I wander why we are still asking for the most basic features when we all already know the answer.
Btw all I see are excuses for a horrible design choice, the avoiding of the solution that makes more sense and another horrible design choice in return.
Keep the good job guys <3
So if i am Grocking this. Upon popping the chest you will have a chance to get a Primal weapon, a token or both. The weapon still goes into the players inventory but any tokens go into the players loot list to be distributed as the group sees fit?
Well like another poster said, the way this is received is dependent on how many of the bobbles we need to hand in to get what we want how often they are gained. and more importantly how often the booby prize of dark matter is handed out.

I really hope this need/greed system goes by each class you have, rather than the current class you're on.
Maybe the dark matter "Try again next time" prize will be done away with and instead be the turn-in item.So if i am Grocking this.
